Posted this in the buy/sell thread but thought it is a good question for it is own topic.

Does the short week help Romo? He will immediately have to focus on the Pats and not have the time to dwell on the INTs.

Does the short week hurt Romo? The short week does not allow him enough time to purge the bad mojo and keeps him from being 100% focused on the Pats?

Well he purged the memory fast enough to take the team down the field completing 9 out of 11 (I think that's right number) passes including TD pass to bring us with 2. Then after onside kick and recovery, he hit TO but pass dropped & then 2 quick passes before 2 FG attempts. Romo is a stud. I'm sure studying the game film will ensure he really knows where/how he screwed up and you can bet Garrett & Wilson will be sure he's prepared to play the Patriots.

BTW: I really think he missed his QB coach Wade Wilson. Maybe he didn't need to get ideas/feedback from Wilson in the first 4 games, but I sure believe he would have liked to bounce ideas off Wilson during the Bills game.

I was listening to inside the huddle and Romo said when he threw one of the late picks he sat on the bench and put a towel over his face and just smiled. Thinking its not going to get any worse than this and he should go out there and give it his all.

:laugh2:

Has there ever been a QB with the demeanor of Romo at such a young age. I mean 6 turnovers would have had me in a fetal position sucking my thumb til the end.

I'd say it is good for him mentally. He has to start prepairing for NE right away without the two days off they normally get after a win. This will limit the amount of time that he will have to dwell on his mistakes and thus prevent him from letting it get in his head.

I'm not sure too much gets to his head. Having said that, I'm concerned about how he will play against NE. Many a good QB has fallen to prey to this Patriot team. Sure wish it was some other team Romo will be facing Sunday.

I'm 50/50 on this game.

If we get our *** kicked, I was kind of expecting it.

If we win.. well, ****, I don't know.

I just KNOW Phillips has something planned. No way we're sitting ducks... not at home, not at 5-0.

I think, as of right now, everyone is saying this win was "embarressing" - or what not, and if we win - they'll say we beat the Bills barely because we were looking ahead to the Patriots, and it some how gave us an advantage.

Ahh, crap. I don't know.. I'm trying to think like the media.

all this bad games are good for romo, he has to understand that he will have good and bad games, and learn that no matter what he has to keep going.
You learn more from the bad then the good.

I don't think it matters short or long, he's an NFL quarterback. If he could bounce back from the Seattle debacle, he can bounce back from anything.
