this has been a problem for many many years. glad it's fixed. we might be the best 3rd down offense in football. very few 3rd and 9, 10, etc. this year.

You missed the best part, Percy: they've run the ball in those situations 8 times this year, versus 16 times all last year.

I like this one, myself:

3rd or 4th down, 2 yards or less to go:
2013: 34 plays, 14 rushes (41%), 10 rushing first downs (71% rushing success rate)
2014: 13 plays, 8 rushes (62%), 7 rushing first downs (87.5%)

Great stats and shows how important the trenches are....Can you keep the same stats for the 1st four game (Sept) and then see how they match up to the last 4 games (Dec). This team is showing a very different make up this year....a little confidence and a little Romo MOXIE has taken hold.....
