Shot Game: How to deal with the Jones Boys years?

The problem Dak has is his intellect. He for sure is not the brightest. I dont want to call him an idiot. But.... he is.

To explain: He is the doubter. We who see reality are just telling the facts. But he doubts them.

Not true, not true at all. The negativity has been earned by the extreme narcissistic acts of Jerry. He has caused the futility of this franchise by insisting on being in charge when he is nowhere near qualified, nor is he smart enough as pertaining to the NFL.

I get it that you abhor the negativity, I don't like it either. But, in this case it is completely and unequivocally earned.

The shocking thing is that Dak is letting the fan drama affect him. Utterly ridiculous, and goes to his lack of mental toughness.

Yes. His mental instabiliy is another reason i would have never given gim even his second contract. Sometimes i have the feeling he is an authist. Clearly something is not right with his brain. And i am not talking about some minor issue.

That our FO isnt able to see this but work and talk with him every day is another critique is have.

  • Dak says the doubters are welcome, we’re going all the way
  • Stephen says that a winning team did something we can’t
  • Cowboys overpay for an extension
  • Cowboys severely understaff a position of need with late draft picks
  • The Jones Boys draft a dud on the defensive line
  • Jerry blows draft picks on a WR trade
  • Jerry speaks for the Head Coach in the media

The Raiders fans should ask us for advice on how to get through this stuff. The Raiders have actually played in a SB in the 21st Century.
 
Take a shot everytime Stephen says were hamstringed by the salary cap, we have to move money down the road.....

What kind of shots, outside of real bullets, would anyone believe might change the outcome of this FO's decisions? Members here have taken their best verbal "shots" for many years now, to no avail. It's fair to assume these "shots" won't factor into meaningful changes anytime soon.

Jerry and Stephen will somehow have to feel personally obliged to do what's best for their family to turn things around. It will take a mass exodus of the fans to inspire real change for this front office to change their ways. Evidently, the turnouts at AT&T Stadium won't inspire that to occur.

Only the absence of money will be likely to promote real change. Yet, vast amounts of dough keep pouring in. So, good luck with that. Fans, being fans, won't accommodate being as stingy as the Cowboys' FO. That's just life with the Cowboys' organization, as we know it. Sigh . . . :rolleyes:

If you holding out for someone not named Jones to be the owner you best be ready to hang on for at least the next 300 years!

A shot every time we hear “body language” regarding CD.

Why is it now every time I put something in quotes I think of Stephen, aka Air Quotes

-Jerry hired a coach he is familiar with or an ex-player.
-Jerry hires an assistant coach before the head coach gets a say.
-Stephen cries about no cap money.
-anytime the local media rolls over
-every time Spagnola writes an article in defense of something Jerry did
-every time a player blows a play because they were blinded by the sun in the new stadium
