This team has a lot of problems, but the head coach is not one. The problem is the defensive scheme and failure to adapt and change. we had two of the best corners at the beginning of the season who excel at man defense yet the stubborn idiot Defensive coordinator plays opposite of their strengths. And we lost both corners, and many buy in from other players on this scheme.

What I did like about Shotty was the offensive play calling. I liked the Dak played great meaning he too liked the offensive scheme.

I liked that Shotty held players accountable. Diggs, Cee Dee, Pickens, Diggs again. While it probably killed our season because diva's like Diggs and probably Picken revolted, I'd rather get rid of these crybabies than continue with a Diva team. Jerry babied these players far to long and it was a cancer to the team. Hopefully we can weed out the cancers of this team.

I wouldn’t play DIGGS for the rest of the season, cut him and eat the 9 million in dead CAP space, he’s a cancer just like Pickens is possibly turning into! This team needs a Dan Campbell & has needed toughness for several years! Spoiled rotten players who make too much money and who therefore could care less about winning! But we always had College Football and now it may be getting worse!

Holding players accountable by not letting them play three or four downs of one game? All while receiving the same game check amounts for less work. And that is considered a punishment?

Junior has a 6-7-1 record as a HC.
He doesn't hold Eberflus accountable.
Junior, too, started the season as a players friend, then he corrected himself slowly.
He was edged out of Seattle because he's so good.

I feel you on the accountability.

And I think most of the guys disciplined (not Diggs) know that if they get fined or benched, it sends a huge message to the non-star players.

The problem is 2 tackles who cant protect on pass plays and def coord not able adjust to his players. He stops applying pressure and allows the qb to have all day to pass

We need a proven GM who our owner will listen to.

The issue is a great head coach or young upcoming head coach who has the potential to be great will never come to a NFL team where the owner (who is the GM) loves a soap opera and will drag out contract extensions.

What you will get is someone like our current head coach, someone who is grateful just to be hired as a head coach.

I know Aubrey is human but 2 missed FG gets you to 29. Then you have 30 and lose in Detroit . At some point you have to think what I need is 42 per game to be safe ? Ridiculous . Until you have a defense gets some stops you have nothing .
