I'm okay with that, though I still think that McFadden gives us the best chance to win.
And, he's just got a higher pedigree than Morris.McFadden is my starter as of now just for his receiving skills from the backfield.
I don't understand why people want Morris over DMC. Both of these guys are veterans we KNOW EXACTLY who they are. DMC has proven to be better. Morris is an avg 3.something yards per carry RB. Morris will be a good back up to DMC. Its nice having the depth. But let's stop pretending or hoping that Morris is some how better now than he has ever been. How do we not remember how terrible Morris looked last season? How do we not remember that Morris was passed on a depth chart by a bum named Matt Jones.McFadden got all the 1st team reps last night.
I think they should give Morris the next game with the 1s just to see him work up a lather. Even if Zeke gets a few carries to start things off.
I don't see how they can evaluate him without the first team line.
Well McFadden is probably our new starting RB for the first 6 games so you don't want to get him hurt, so I would give Morris most of the preseason work.McFadden got all the 1st team reps last night.

Yes. Morris is a workhorse back. He'll play his best with more work and he'll give you the most between the tackles. He needs to be the starter once Zeke's suspended and eventually banned for life.
McFadden is a change of pace back. If Zeke's playing then you want McFadden complimenting him and not Morris.
Ha! And most of them not by choice!!I heard we are holding out all starters until the 7th game of the season.......

It doesn't matter. DMC and Morris have been in the league for years and know how to play the position. They will mix it up while Zeke is gone. All they need is The Great Wall to do their jobs.I think they should give Morris the next game with the 1s just to see him work up a lather.
