Should Bob Hayes be in the HOF

There are only two kinds of people who don't realize Bob Hayes should be in the Hall of Fame.

Fools and idiots.

I'm still tring to figure out if the HOF Voters are fools or idiots. I am leaning towards the latter.

Actually, the biggest reason is bigotry. The National Football League Hall of Fame is a triumph of small minded bigots over the masses of football fans and players everywhere. It is a monumental tribute to bias and ignorance and clear reason why the honored members of the hall should have a voice in selection, not just the close-minded sports writer hacks who are not worthy enough to kiss the feet (or, insert your own idea of an appropriate body part) of even the least skilled person ever to play the game, even on a sandlot.

The HOF could be a monument to greatness but they have besmirched the name of the game and made it into a hall of shame. That's why I never watch the inductions nor the opening pre-season game afterward.

Before their Bob Hayes fiasco and general anti-Cowboys bias, I wanted to visit the hall but I wouldn't go now even if they put him in - too many intense bitter feelings there. Instead of spawning admiration and respect, they are merely spawning hatred and bigotry. If they can be that way, so can I.

Sportswriting wimps who are wannabee Hitlers should never be given any authority over anything.

Ask me how I really feel sometime.

I know how you feel. But even as paasionate as you are about this issue, as you can see I am as well, you really should go someday. If you hold these feelings then you really place the balme on those who are in the Hall. What I mean by that is that they are not the ones who have created this issue.

I've been to the Hall several times. I too was going to boycott it but realized that doing so would also mean boycotting the memories of some of the truly greats of the game.

It is a wonderful place to go and relive some of the great experiences all over again. Dorsett's 99 1/2 yard run, the Hail Mary, the Super Bowls, and the hall of busts. It really is amazing.

Hopefully, one day enough of these knuckleheads will wake up and put Hayes in, and when they do, I will be there when his family is there to accept it.

Well, I guess bullet is too good for football board hell. Maybe I'll see him up here in heaven when the season starts. Irving kinda strikes me as a DCC type. I have a few names at that board, but they'd never know it's me and I can't post there at all times.

I will say, it pretty much sucks in comparison. It's like no one has gotten past puberty over there.
