Should Dak play with a glove?

Dak has been consistently having problems with balls slipping out of his hand.

It’s easy to see that Dak sweats a lot during games.

Could wearing a glove on his throwing hand, help minimize some of the plays where the ball just slips out of his hand?

If his hands are getting sweaty, having a glove might also help with throwing the ball a bit. (Not saying it’s the main cause of his accuracy issues). But I don’t think it could hurt.

Thoughts?

Could be. A lot of players wear those arm bands around their biceps and wrist to keep the sweat from rolling down their arms. In basketball in particular.

I think he has worn a glove before. Probably doesn't like how it feels. It's a feel thing

Reasonable question.

If the glove is sticky it can cause the opposite problem which would result in low passes (i.e. The ball stays on the hand a split second longer when the hand has started the downward motion).

I have big hands and when my stepson was in middle school, we practiced in the yard and that smaller ball had a tendency to "stick" in my hand.

On the plus side I could throw that thing a mile.

Maybe, like that two finger glove that Mariota wears..

But that ball didn't slip, he hit it with his other hand fyi

Dak needs a towel hanging off Looney's butt.......dude sweat's A LOT.

Dak has very large hands (10-7/8"). Romo was 9-5/8" which is big compared to the average man.

People talked a lot about Dez having big hands but his measured 9-3/4".

Probably only Tyron 11" and David Irving 11-1/2" are bigger.

Maybe if Dak had smaller hands he could complete the 5-7 yard passes he totally screws up

I don’t know...only that I’m tired of it. Seriously,he’s sloppy. He’s great at picking them up,but you can’t be putting the ball on the ground so much. Zeke too...again letting someone pop it out. This needs to be addressed much much more by the staff,as it’s the fumbles that keep showing up in games. For a HC who’s whole thing is about turnover ratios, you’d think he’d be really ticked off by it. But he’s not,so it never gets corrected.

With the Zeke one.. the reverse angle shows that he may have let it come out because he was basically at the sideline. The play was all but dead when the ball comes out.

The Dak one.. well that is the third time we have seen him fumble in two games.. yes he has recovered all 3 but seriously.. needs to be addressed.
