Video: Should Dak Prescott be concerned with Joe Milton joining the Cowboys?

I said no such thing. Show your work. Point to the words I used that said that.

You can't, which is why you ignored that post. You sir. are a pathetic, twisted, sick individual who has absolutely no qualms about blatantly lying in order to further a deceptive attempt at character assassination for the sole purpose of protecting your fragile ego.

Either that, or you're just that dumb.

Which is it?
I'm feeling some Rockport 2.0 vibes from him...

Dak over Dallas? Grow up, dude.
If you admit that you hope Milton is a complete failure so that Dak can remain the QB, then you are a Dak over Dallas kind of person. As MC pointed out, all of us fans, you included, should hope that Milton excels and can become the future of the team. If you don't want him to succeed because of your love of Dak, then you love Dak more than the Dallas Cowboys.

It's really this simple.

I want just one thing - a team that is competing for super bowls every year like KC, Buf, and SF always seem to be able to do. If that can happen with Dak I will be fine with it. But his history shows he isn't going to be the guy. So hope for the future, and if Milton can possibly be the start of the future, then so be it. Right now, though, I don't know a damn thing about him so he's going to have to prove himself a bit.

I think Milton will be given every opportunity to prove himself in the preseason. If he does not, then it won't be Grier at No. 2 ahead of him. We'll go get someone.
Both Milton and Grier would have to SUCK in preseason for the Cowboys to bring in another QB that late in the preseason. Milton and Grier will have a full offseason with us. It would be very difficult to prepare a QB brought in off the street in August. They wouldn’t even be ready for preseason. One big reason they brought back Grier was because he knows our system. Our backup will either be Milton or Grier, unless the Cowboys take a QB in the draft and add them to the mix.

.....everyone had good points. I will add, that yes Dak whether he likes it or not.

Milton is sittng on Deck. If he goes south the first 8 games. Or worse, gets hurt.

Milton will be granted opportunity, to win. NFL can be real finicky, very much like life.

The ONLY way Milton sees the field during the regular season is as a situational QB for a play or two or if Dak gets injured. That’s assuming he ends up the backup.

Notice how Dak didn't mention Milton on social media? Usually when a player re-signs or comes to the Cowboys, Dak just reposts the mothership's post; he did not do that with Milton (hehe).
Hmm what new players did Dak ever post or re-post about? The 1 minute search I just did on X and IG turned up nothing.

Of course you should and that’s a healthy sports environment. That’s exactly where Jimmy Johnson built the Cowboys on and the Miami hurricanes, fierce in-house competition every single year.

Why would I?

I'm winning.

There's only like 4 of you Dak over Dallas fans left here.
What exactly did you win? You said Dak sucks and won't get resigned... both times. You said Dak will never come close to MVP. You said Will Grier, Mike White, Trey Lance, Cooper Rush and now Milton would beat out Dak for the starting job.

So why would anyone listen to you? You've been wrong alot more than you've been right.

Where did I ever say what you are accusing me of? I even created a thread praising Milton's physical attributes while highlighting his college performance.

Is Jerry smart enough for that?
You have to look at his track record. He moved on from Aikman and Romo when it was clear they weren't worth the money. But why he couldn't admit that Dak wasn't the answer after the Packers playoff disaster is more than a fair question. You got me boss!!

LOL the desperation of so many Cowboys fans to want to move on from Dak is so apparent. I can't blame them. Dak missed his best shot of redemption after the Packers disaster. Cowboys history is full of such QB failure moments in time. When Dandy Don Meredith and Craig Morton couldn't get it done. When Danny White whiffed in 3 straight NFC championships. Romo and the 2014 playoffs. You can kind of see when the downslide is about to happen. And it may be that Dak still has some seasons left in him, but he was DDDDUUUMMMBBB to resign in Dallas. He could have moved on to another team, escape the Dallas pressure cooker and maybe would had more success. I just don't see it now.

Dak Derangement Syndrome ^^^^
Much like other "derangement syndrome" claims...it's just a smokescreen and a shield against FACTS. Dak was carried by the best back and o-line in the league with a HOF tight end. His collapse in 2017 when he was asked to do it with average WR...well...he's never been able to do much without significant help. Which is why paying him $60mm was the dumbest move in the last 10 years.

I think we know what we have in DAk
When healthy and surrounded with a decent running game some adequate protection and a competent defense.
He is somewhere in the top third of the league.

Take away any of these things add 10 years of wear and tear and the injuries he has sustained and he becomes somewhat compromised.
Not sure how many more of these injuries he can bounce back from and not end up more than a step slow and end up in the same situation Tony was in before he retired.

I like the addition of Milton and think if he could be taught and coached up properly he has the physical tools to develop into a serviceable quarterback.

It seems like many times with quarterbacks by the time they completely grasp the mental part of the game their body has them compromised to the point where they can no longer protect themselves and compete.

Milton is at the height of his powers physically it all depends on make the necessary mental adjustments to be able to compete in the NFL .
I wish for Dak to recover and be able to regain his ability to compete in the NFL but if he is unable I would be excited to see this young man fulfill his potential and be able to lead our team
Daks mental acuity is his problem. Much less than his physical attributes.
