Do you feel what we have on hand is good enough, or do we need more talent at the HB position
what's up with the trick vote either one of those answers could mean the same thing? I mean right now the way rosters are set up you pretty much have to stay put think about the money they already have invested in Tony Pollard 10 million you have dead cap space allocated from Ezekiel Elliott and then you have the other guys on the roster what is that about $18 million for running backs??

At this point I don't think they have a choice we already have a lot of resources to a lot of positions already for a 53 man roster I mean unless they're thinking in making a trade Tony Pollard for Henry or cooks I mean you gotta get rid of his pay and him in order to have room for his body and his cap hit I I don't get why fans don't see this we cannot sign another wide receiver another defensive end or another running back without making a big move to remove somebody out of the team with a big salary from the same position..

The only positions I see we might need to add is a veteran offensive lineman if after camp they're not comfortable we still need a veteran kicker I mean I don't see too many holes on this team right now that we can afford to fit in without making a bigger move.

We have three huge holes on the team, and that's at kicker, O-line and RB.

If we are going to be this supposed hard running team, depending on a guy just coming back from a broken leg and giving him a GREATER workload is a bad idea. Just giving him a greater workload alone is going to reduce his explosiveness ala Felix Jones, and on top of that, we don't know how he will respond after the injury.

Deuce Vaughn is a nice change of pace back for splash plays, but giving him significant touches is going to get him hurt at his size.

Ronald Jones? He might be ok on a rebuilding team, but for a superbowl team that is going to reply on the running game, you don't go into the season with this runningback trio. Sorry. This is still a major weakness just like when we let Amari go. We might have something that looks awesome against mediocre to weak teams, but this WILL show up when we come across a defensive powerhouse like San Fran.

Weaknesses don't really get exposed until you get in the playoffs and play the TOUGH teams.

By all means, yes, bring more in, however:

1. Has to be someone talented and proven enough to fill Pollard's shoes, we have unproven and proven average backs on hand, adding more JAGS won't help if Pollard goes down again.
2. Has to someone who will sign for a reasonable, and by that I mean very reasonable, salary. Don't wreck the cap for someone who might not even see the field more than a handful of times.
3. You have to feel who you have now after Pollard isn't very good, even though you drafted/signed them, otherwise why not just get someone off the scrap heap, like Zeke? At least you know what he can do.

Camp bodies are fine, but please, don't sign anybody else until you see what Pollard and others already on the team can do, as in preseason....

No... see what you've got this summer.

As far as starters ,we have a Pro Bowl back in Pollard,.. we need to feature and scheme for him in a full time and find out about him in a full time role featured role

If they wanted cheap, better backup RB than Ro Jones, wouldn't they have already sign that player on before they did with Ro Jones ?

Maybe Ro was the one of several FA backs that they liked , but he met the offering price that they preferred.
And they are not gonna slice him (Jones) away after just re-signing and he's not even played in pads much less games at all..

Do people still call the position HB? I regress, it will be RB by committee with TP the chairman, but yes I'd always keep looking for another one.
