Except you would not likely get a scheme change the defensive coaches that are here are here because they worked in this scheme. YOu might get wrinkle or two because the new DC would want to try some things but it will be overall same scheme especially on the back end. Cover 2 in 4-3 and 3-4 are pretty much the same. All coverages are same so a promoted from within DC will still be running some busted Zone scheme on the back end.

Remember the GB playoff game. We played Zone then too for some inexplicable reason...when our personnel was geared toward Man coverage. Yes, we have terrible personnel. Is our coach working to cover for that to any degree or stubbornly sticking to a system where it's known we don't have the people for? Oh wait.

Yeah but Mike Zimmer didn't get his roster going in defense playing well until mid season So that's why we're looking at maybe three more games before you make a decision like this and by the way how about just 16th if you make this defense average just improved with the offense that we have we have a shot at winning nine or 10 games and getting a wild card..
