Should Heath start?

He has made more plays than either Church or Wilcox, and he seems like a better tackler. Not saying he is our answer at safety, but I think the combo of Jones and Heath would be better than Wilcox and Church.

Wilcox is the worst player on the cowboys roster. Heath should start every week over him. I don't think I have ever said - nice wrap up tackle, beautiful interception or nice angle when it comes to JJ

Heath should start so he can be developed into a better backup. The safety position needs to have Jones and another player, with Heath as a backup. Wilcox has become a very frustrating player for me to watch.

Why not? He perfectly capable of whiffing on tackles and taking bad angles. There is plenty of room for him.

At this point I don't care. Byron should be our FS. Wilcox doesn't deserve to be on the team after the effort he gave today (and I was a big supporter of him before the season started). Church sucks, but at least makes an effort.

When everyone was in love with Wilcox and hated Heath last year, I caught some heat here for saying that Wicox was no better than Heath. I said they both sucked for different reasons.

Heath was usually in position to make plays but couldn't finish and Wilcox can finish plays but always out of position.

Looks like Heath improved and is actually finishing plays this year but Wilcox has regressed and still take bad angles and now can't even finish plays.

Heath should definitely get more playing time than Wilcox.

We would be better off with an aging veteran on the downside of his career. It is hard to believe we did not bring someone in for a look in the offseason. Wilcox has been terrible. He will probably be out of the league once he leaves here.

I'm advocating a "no safety" defense. Have Byron Jones line up in the slot, or whatever he does best, and play an extra lineman, or 4 linebackers, or 6 corners.

Wilcox, Heath, and Church do nothing anyway, so don't play any of them. hell, don't even dress any safeties. What's the point anyway? Woodson at present age is better than any of these fools.

Our corners and safeties are terrible at tackling. Claiborne and Carr where actually scared to tackle lacy today. Church isn't scared but was put on his back a couple of times, and Wilcox is just frustrating to watch.. He's like a poor poor mans version of Roy Williams ( the safety) that can't tackle.
