Should our former players offer their opinions to the current Cowboys?

Is it more harmful or helpful. This generation of athletes you can't talk to them in the way the vets were brought up. You have to say things a certain way in a certain tone to get their attention. With that said, should they continue to say how they feel, or should they back off like some of these current players would like? Please give your thoughts.
I think former players who still care about the Cowboys, particularly those that played to the standard (Jimmy Johnson standard) should speak up and give their perspective and insight. I'm sure Jerry and the rest of his paid cronies don't enjoy this kind of spotlight, but who cares what the incompetent fools want?

Everyone who follows the team has an opinion. Many of us express it. Former players are no different. Advise from former players may even on rare occasions help current players and coaches. But bottom line is it is up to the current players, coaches and management to fix today's issues. So, in the vast majority of cases the current people should block out outside chatter including well meaning "help."

I mean McFraud says Troy's opinion ain't valid cuz McFraud sees everything every day in practice from the receivers.

The very first thing I thought of when he said this was Rodgers saying that McFraud aint the brightest light bulb to begin with.
So what he thinks he sees from a coach's perspective and what the QB sees may be 2 entirely different things.
Unfortunately.

I mean the playcaller and QB are supposed to be an extension of one another. Supposed to be.
You can't have one without the other.

So we might as well take it to that very next level...
Is it the play called?
Or execution of said play?

Aren't we already there?
Scapegoats 'R US.

Starring former winners Linehan, Garrett and Moore and now make way for McCarthy, LOL

NEXT!

I wouldn’t trust Rodgers opinions on much . He burned the McCarthy bridge then LaFleur and Saleh canned a yr and 5 games into the Rodgers Jets stay . The guys like a poison pill late in the career .

Yeah regardless, my personal opinion of McFraud is still similar to Rodgers. I don't hold him as being in the upper tier of cerebral head coaches.

Just my opinion.

Jerry called him out . “ schemes & play calling “ is what got thrown under the Midas muffler is what I recall …Jerry basically burned 2024 when Erik Kendrick’s is your only significant FA upgrade following the Green Bay felony assault last January .

I value Aikman Emmitt & Irving opinions over the likes of Tony Pollard Dorrance Armstrong & Kelvin Joseph for goodness sakes who chose to sling mud at the franchise .

Aikman talks football when he speaks about poor “ route running “ it’s a tangible piece of advice from a QB who would not suffer in silence over teammates when he was playing .

Things began to fall apart when players started saying, Hey, I want a big contract. This is business. It's not just a game.
sorry, it's a game you get paid ridiculous amounts of money to play.

After you retire, from the SPORT of football, you can use your celebrity to be hugely successful in business.

So what am I saying? I guess I'm saying, be a team guy.
During & after you're on a team. If you've got nothing good to say don't say anything.

why not? that's the question. they are free to say whatever they want, because they would be part of the media now.
