I bet TR1 will be invisible all week. Guess this should put an end to their Romo-Campbell debate. :laugh2:

Actually he is sniping still, he made a thread critical of our defense and was still in there defending it hours after their loss to NE.

oh just wait...probably before the end of the day tomorrow Art will have another thread showing how all 22 starters on the Commanders are clearly superior to everyone on the Cowboys roster

somehow in his twisted mind he'll find a way to show how the 52-7 loss today was far better than the game we played against the Pats

Art: To the casual fan this seems like a beat down of franchise record proportions. The genius is thats exactly what this HOF coaching staff wants you to think.

Clearly the Patriots are playing better football than anyone not name Petyon right now. I have it on good information (I paid for a lap dance for the new accounting intern) that Gibbs views the Patriots as the league's bestright now. The strategy was to (and I quote) "play down" this game due to its possible playoff ramifications. The Commanders play Commander football with their backs against the wall and that how Joe wants them going into a critical late season run.

The fact the the Pats have no good feel for how effective this offense or defense CAN be will come back to haunt them come Feb. Again, I can't expose my high level sources but this game plan called for lots of "team"by-in. I'm told that Campbell will get a bonus for each turnover this game.

I know its hard to take but the true fans will trust that the HOF Gibbs has this all planned out. I'm off to clean the toliet on Commander One before Danny get back from the platform shoe store

Keep the faith...Art out!

Actually, Munchis' methodology was strikingly similar to TR1's. If I had to guess who it was, I'd have to say good ol' TR1.

I'll give them a healthy Maroney and still feel good about playing them with a healthy TG, Henry, and Tank (people forget how good he was, and how poor the Bears run defense has been since he left).

We've played them the better than any other team, with an opportunity to go ahead by two scores in the 3rd quarter.

Skins however, looked miserable - and were outcoached badly.

Maybe it's me, but I don't take a moral victory out of losing to them by less of a blowout than the Skins did.

I knew they were going to lose and lose badly. I do not think the Skins have the squad that can beat them on a given night.

I still think we do, but we have to play a very mistake free game to do it.

Our defense gave up 48; they gave up 45. There's their silver lining, as it were.

I am pretty certain had the skins shown any ability to move the ball, much less score, the Pats would have been much more aggressive and scored more points. If the Pats wanted more points they could have easily had them.

Well that should do it ..... we were leading in the 3rd quarter against the Pats ..... and they did not score until Garbage time.

The Pats are scary ...... but I still want another shot at them.

52 - 7 could not happen to a more deserving team.

Meh. I'm not sure I find much of a moral victory, but man, we were in that game in the 3rd quarter and just shot ourselves in the foot so often that we lost control of it in a hurry. If we control our mistakes and play a good game, we can beat the Patriots. If we have a healthy secondary, MAYBE we could get off the field on 3rd down and our defense wouldn't fold in the 4th quarter like they did.

It's all excuses and I know that. I just feel confident that at full strength and playing even halfway mistake-free football, we match up decently well with them. Hopefully we'll get a chance to find out.

Actually TR1 is still in hiding along with every other skins fan who was debating the Cowboys defense VS the Skins defense in this thread.

BOY what a difference a week makes. Talking about having to eat crow!

On a side note they are banning Skins fans left and right for speaking their mind. I got banned several weeks ago......lol.
