Well no, because there are none in this draft. No reason to reach
There will be 10th pick quality defenders there

I would see if I can make a trade back, if not you draft him as Gallup's replacement in '22.Gonna be interesting if Ja'Marr Chase falls to 10.
If this is your position, then there's no reason not to pick Waddle at 10.I would see if I can make a trade back, if not you draft him as Gallup's replacement in '22.

Waddle would have to check out medically. If this is your position, then there's no reason not to pick Waddle at 10.

Man you gonna give some people a heart attackGonna be interesting if Ja'Marr Chase falls to 10.
In that case you would trade a WR before the 11th pick lolId take Chase at 10 in a heartbeat. Not a big need, but the talent is too high to pass on.
Either you pass on Gallup’s 2nd contract or you can think about moving Cooper.

With all the holes on defense, does pick 10 have to be a defender?

I don’t think it happensNot at all. You ride out 1 season with Gallup and I think he’s a FA after next season.
The team could also start shopping Coop after the pick if that’s the route they wanted to go.
I don’t think it happens
But if it did I’d trade Gallup
He has good value and if traded after the draft could easily get you a future second
But I think most likely it won’t be a WR at 10
They will extend Gallup and the future would be Gallup, lamb and another rookie maybe drafted next year or a guy developing into the 3rd WR
Shultz is probably tradeable for a mid rounder. Rookie deal, 60 catch season.
One year left on his rookie deal, and TE's never seem to have trade value. However I still think you could get a refund of his original pick if you wanted to move him
That’s possible but he is an important part of the offense and I’d try to keep him and move on from Cooper in the next year or so before Gallup actually got expensive and you have 4 more cheap years with LambThat's fine...but Gallup is likely going to demand a pretty large contract to extend him (around 6-8 mil per year).
With the high draft pick invested in Lamb I wouldn't be surprised if they decided not to extend him and go a cheaper route.
