Based on what we have seen so far

Also dont be lazy and say "We should sign him to an affordable deal"...Well obviously you want him to sign an affordable deal

It takes 2 to tango. If Kazee is willing to work with the Cowboys and accept a team friendly deal that's also fairly priced for him, Cowboys should definitely resign him. If Kazee keeps playing well, it will be lucrative for him to remain wearing the Star on his helmet in more ways than one.

What would that deal look like? I consider those propostions to be unrealistic. I never have the expectation that a player will accept sub market value.

What exactly would a "team friendly deal" be? He probably would have gotten close to 10 AAV had he not torn his achilles

It's very simple...

If you want to play for the Cowboys, accept a deal that is reasonable and helps both parties. If you're all about getting as much money as you can, go kick rocks somewhere else.

But what is that deal exactly? Do you think that players should be willing to accept below market value just to play for Dallas?

Clearly, you're of the type who wants the players to get as much as they can. So tell us what you think Kazee should get from the Cowboys?

Im just being rational.

Based on how he has played so far this season, 7 to 8 per year is probably his market value. Would have been 10 last year if he didnt get hurt. Id be willing to give him 8 per as long as I had outs.

Now what are you willing to give him?

$8 million/year? That's nuts.

Your type are willing to give away millions like if it were candy. That's why Jerry has made so many dumb contract extensions that have put this team in a hole. That's why Jaylon Smith was cut yesterday, and I'm sure others are soon to follow if they refuse to take a pay cut.

I would offer Kazee no more than $5 million/year on a 3-4 year contract.

Not at all nuts. Thats actually below market value for a quality starting S. 9 to 11 per year is market value for a quality S. 15+ if you are a star.

If he is willing to take your deal, then that's wonderful. However I cant rationally expect that a player is going to take a below market deal. Thats why I specifically stated in the OP to not give that awnser. Of course everyone wants a bargain

Really depends on what he wants compared to hooker and kearse. Wilson will be back and Israel will have a year of development under his belt. We need to sign at least one of hooker kazee and kearse.

But without any other information I'd say yes

We have a lot of football to play still. I don't understand why this question is being asked right now. With only 4 games played, I'd say he's likely to get resigned unless he asks for too much money.

I think it's definitely worth re-signing one of Kazee, Hooker or Kearse. I'm sure all 3 came here to boost their stock for a bigger deal.
I've liked his ability early on to force turnovers.
Bucs game in the 4th and the INT of Herbert in the redzone.

Think if Quinn sticks around so will Kazee
