Based on what we have seen so far

Also dont be lazy and say "We should sign him to an affordable deal"...Well obviously you want him to sign an affordable deal

I dont see how this is something to even be discussed at this point. Its definitely a wait and see time. Are you going to sign a guy right now that could get hurt again? Let him play out the season and then see how he does. He has been good this far, but nothing spectacular. Plus he is injury prone.

My vote is yes. Obviously I wouldn't break the bank for him bc we can't afford to, but based on his play on the field I'd absolutely try to get it done.

Pardon my ignorance. But if he balls out and gets a max money deal, would we be eligible for a comp pick even though he's on a one year deal?

I wouldn't make that decision at this point.

What would that deal look like? I consider those propostions to be unrealistic. I never have the expectation that a player will accept sub market value.

What exactly would a "team friendly deal" be? He probably would have gotten close to 10 AAV had he not torn his achilles
Kazee will not accept a team friendly deal he will be looking at the market .

Yessir, you got it.

Of course it comes down to money, but they need to re-sign Kazee or Hooker at FS. I'm spoiled at this point and want one of these guys back.

Also, would like for JK to be re-signed too...his physical presence is a joy to watch for a once super soft defense.

If I had to pick between Kazee and Kearse, I’m taking Kearse 10 out of 10 times

Kearse came out of nowhere. Only thought on Kazee is coming back from the achilles, is he better in year 2 of recovery?

Yes,.... i believe since Kazee will be an unrestricted FA, if he gets a big multi year contract offer from another NFL team in free agency, we may eligible for a compensatory pick. Providing there are no other provisions with the number of FAs we've previously signed on board.

I thought so, but it's definitely not something I was sure of. Thanks!
