Not this again...

Hey. I'm sorry. I haven't been on for awhile because of illness so didn't have time to search other posts about this subject. If it's been tossed around before I'm sorry. Just was wondering. Sorry if I wasted your time on the forum.

If you don't like the post ignore it . Don't need the sarcasm.

No he should retire.:D

Just kidding. If this wasn't a division rival I would be on the fence.
The skins with Hall running his lip, yeah he needs to play. Hopefully
Hall doesn't take him out, that's all we will hear about the rest of the season.

Why after the Bye? I say week 10, minimum.

Hell, lets just sit him until the 2012 season just to play it safe. :D

Not bad, not bad. I think I might agree with you there.

:laugh2: It's amazing how worried people are like he's going to die if he's out there. He'll be fine.

Trust in the coaching staff. Whatever happens will ultimately happen. I just want to see Dez the monster getting his game back on.

It's football; football players play hurt.

It will hurt like hell, but this isn't a damaged knee or shoulder that will be injured worse and cost him the season.

I have no concerns over his playing; my concerns all surround our not having any WRs to run out there.

Couldn't the rib puncture his lung again? Also, couldn't he turn it into a compound fracture? I don't know, I'm not a doc, just curious if anybody has info on this.

Ah, so it's the homer 'can't handle a legitimate debate on the team so let's go extreme with the stance of the other side to make it appear ridiculous' defense.

Yeah, so.....I'd sit him until after the bye. Give the ribs a few weeks to heal.

Fixed that for you.

Talk to me the next time somebody's blown out knee or shoulder punctures a lung.

Bad comparison.

If he can play, he should play.

From what I heard on ESPN radio from the doctor they had on Mike and Mike, Romo has a displaced fracture. You don't puncture a lung unless it's displaced. And, yes, another hit on it could more severely puncture his lung. And, yes, that could be a life threatening situation.

That's all I needed to hear. This game isn't worth it. Playing Monday doesn't show courage, it shows stupidity.

In his most recent interview, Romo was asked point blank about a pain medicine injection and said he had no injection against the niners, just took something something mild like Advil or Asprin.

So the question I have is is their something availible and appropriate for him to take for the pain an injection that will give him more relief?

I mean, unless the Cowboys' doctors are saying something different. Maybe that guy was a quack. But he's the only professional opinion I've heard on the situation so I have to take his word for it.

The flak jacket will help immensely. I'm not sure why players don't wear them all the time.
