Should we bring back Dez?

No. I like Dez, but no. This team does not need him.

Cooper and Gallup. Either Beasley or Austin in the slot, or another player.
Noah Brown may be in the mix as well. I think his hamstring injury and missing all that time still affected him.
Then there is Cedric Wilson on IR will be back.
And even Hurns will be back, at least see how he does in TC.

Twill is probably gone, but who knows with this team. LOL.

They will sign low level FA, maybe even draft a WR late.

David Sills in the draft.
.

I have a challenge for everyone.
Rather a Dez fan or not a Dez fan (note I did not use the term lover or hater )
I challenge you not to create Dez threads this off season. It is done, over with. In the past.
Also not to bring him up in any other new thread. Can it be done? :muttley:

I wanted him back on the team before he signed with the Saints. Now that he is with the Saints, he is not coming back. He is coming off a major injury and has Drew Brees throwing him the ball.

No don't need for Garrett to kill the rest of his career. Hope Dez wins a Superbowl with NO!

Amari, Dez, Zeke, Tavon, and a Real TE
Would give the top 5 WR cores a run for their money.
Dez opens up the middle of the passing game more and is a SERIOUS red zone threat. It’s no coincidence 2016 and 2017 we were top 5 in red zone conversion %

Why not throw in Tyrell Owens too? He says he can still play. He is probably cheaper, too. Bring the whole band back. Recycle those old jerseys.

Let’s trade a first rnd pick for him

No, I rarely use this term but he is a progress stopper. Dez would have to be the third WR and as far as I know he isnt versatile enough to play all over the field (although that could be more on the coaches.)

I also dont think he would accept a lesser role. He may sign somewhere as a wr2 but he will plan to be the one and if/when that doesnt happen Im not sure he'd handle that well.

I supported Dez while he was here, but there were times (Seattle game) where his sideline antics pissed me off. I also didn't trust him to hold the ball in the open field because he carried it like a loaf of bread.
