Should we even count on Miles austin this year?

I said when we let Robinson go it would be one of the biggest mistakes this team had made in a long time. Who really knows though as we haven't heard one word about Robinson since he left.

Did you see how much he got paid? We made the right decision in letting him go.

Yes I did. I'm sure we could have found a way to stretch that money out to make it work though.

Not a chance. Laurent got way overpaid and there would be no way he would accept a deal we would offer in comparison.

I think Miles is a big help to this team, yes he had a hamstring last season. The 2 season prior he put up back to back 1,000 yard season and even last year despite injury still put up 7 TD on the season. I can't sit here and say he will play 16 games but I do know when he is on the field he is a real weapon for the Cowboys. All I can hope for is a healthy season and if not that then no extended time missed.

When robinson left, i thot: Meh, we have Miles and Dez and we half other pressing needs.
Shows you how much I know.

Players who pull hamstrings tend to pull hamstrings a LOT.

This is why they need a veteran in the worst way. Miles and Dez might not play more than 5-6 games together all year the way they go down all the time.

I'd like to start a campaign. Miles and Felix for Mike Wallace. I've lost an enormous amount of faith in Miles. It's almost non-existenct and IMO I have every right to feel this way, preseason or not.

I'm not expert but something tells me that you can play with a pulled hamstring. I'm sure it's very difficult but can be done. There are players who have played through much worse and still been effective.

Same for players with social and legal issues, such as Dez. Go ahead, fire at will.

Oh, we're on the same page there. Squeeze all the blood out of that turnip while we can because it's just a matter of time.

I'm all for it, but why would the Steelers want part-time players? I was dead set against a trade for Wallace until this hamstring injury came up with Miles. I don't think Miles is the future anymore. Wallace could be.

You can't at all. Once that hamstring is pulled, you pull up lame and you can't run virtually at all.

They are not the least bit interested in trading Mike Wallace. They can win a Super Bowl now; they're not worried about draft picks.

At time last season Miles did but you don't have the acceleration coming out of the break or taking it deep. Andre Johnson had to deal with it last year and was not the same WR.

True, Guys can run half speed but when you need to make the quick cut or need to take it up field it is just not there and pressing it only makes it worse.
