Should we release Larry Allen?

The question is simple yes or no.

Consider that releasing Allen may save us money under the cap, but we really don't need it. Also consider that whoever we get to replace him at this point (Kosier would slide from RT to LG, so technically if we were to say sign Fabini, he would be the one signalling Allen's departure) isn't going to be as good as him. If I were running the show, I'd release him next year instead.

Make him the center. He'll last longer and won't have to run in space. No one will be able to bull rush up the middle as it's guaranteed he'll get his hands on someone every play.

I voted yes, because I dont think he will restructure and at this point, he is not worth 7 mill. I also belive that bill has been wanting to cut him since he got here. But if we dont sign Neil, I dont see how we cut him.

I vote no because he's not replaceable... he's in his mid thirties and he's still the best Left Guard in the NFL...

but if we could save more money and get Lavar Arrington, Julian Peterson, Steve Hutchinson, Adam Vinaterien, and sign Ashworth... I say yeah.. but that is unlikely so I say no...
