The only reason Holley had a chance to do what he did was because he excelled on special teams. Had he not done that, he would not be in the league now. You give any undrafted receiver a chance to get position reps while primarily playing special teams and then have several players ahead of you get hurt and/or released and maybe it can happen again.

Holley is likely all he will be.

Contributor on special teams and spot player. And that's fine, Mike deserves some credit I suppose.

But I wouldn't write Mike any love letters over it. It's not like he dumped Miles Austin on to the team.

As long as Holley continues to play well on special teams and make the plays that are asked of him, I have no problems with throwing Mike a little love.

Holley earned a lot my respect today. Not that he cares or anything but I've been very critical of his presence and today he justified his spot.
