Shouldn't we be rooting for the Lions?

Maybe I'm looking at this wrong but if the Lions win that means that GB would travel to Dallas and if we win we'd go to Detroit to play in the their dome. I'd rather that than playing the Lions at home then going to GB to play where they play extremely well. It looks like we are going to have to beat those 2 team to get to the NFCCG anyway.

But this Cowboys team is built to play in the elements if they were to play at Lambeau. The Packer's defense can be easily ripped apart by Murray and Romo.

I know Rodgers could probably pick apart the defense at any given time if the front 4 are struggling but if it's cold/rainy/snowy then he wouldn't be too much of a factor also you have to factor in their running game is much inferior to Dallas'.

If we have to play one of Detroit or Green Bay away from home I'd much rather face Detroit in Detroit. The only way this happens is if Detroit wins tomorrow and we beat GB in a home game.

I do think that works better for us to reach the NFCC game but I just don't see Detroit beating GB in GB.

Remember last year we had the gb game basically won, but they didn't / couldn't keep with the running game.
Now we have that. So yes bring gb here.

Good point, though I'd hate to rely on the weather. To get where this team wants to go they will have to beat both teams, so I'd rather have GB in Dallas and Detroit on the road... or even better, have a bye and play one of them at home, go Rams and Niners!

Yeah much rather play Green Bay at Lambeau. Rodgers in an indoor stadium = 50 pts

It's hard to figure out GreenBay, one day they look unstoppable and the next they look beatable. The Saints beat them pretty convincingly in New Orleans. I don't think Greenbay is that great on the road, I think Dallas would beat them at home by at least 10 points. 37-27.

Green Bay is ranked 22nd against the run. Detroit is 1st. I'd rather take Detroit here and GB in the bad weather where they will struggle offensively and we'll smash the ball as always.

We can beat anyone. Stick to our offensive philosophy and you avoid let downs we're accustomed to seeing in the past.
