I'm not sure how they will fare for the whole season, but it won't be last. 2-10 on third downs. Rolando is filling in nicely. Titan's WR's didn't do much. Great stops in the second half. Goal line stand. Awesome start.

They have played extremely well given the personel they have to work with. Marinelli has done a superb job of making chicken salad out of chicken poop.

They've played better than expected in both games and appeared better than last week in this game. I hope they continue to gel and progress. Everybody acts like Philly is a shoo-in, but I think the NFC East is wide open, especially if our defense plays at least average.

I felt defense did very good job in the game, They made plays when they had to, they step up. Did a good job in 3rd down to get off the field. More work needs be done but outings like today will build confidence in what Rod wants from them. I have heard nothing but people taking cheap shots at this defense when the fact is this is not last years leagues worst unit, they are a young unit who should improve over the course of the season.

I thought he did miss some passes and I thought Dallas coverage at times was very good. I have said from the get go I don't expect a top 5 defense I have said this defense is better than we have had in the past 2 years. They went out and fought hard, they did give up some plays but damn the NFL sets up rules so offense will make plays and watching several games today everyone makes plays and gives up plays but defense also did a lot of good things and deserves the credit for a well played game. The same Locker went out and played very good vs KC on the road not today.

These guys are playing very well compared to what is expected of them. The challenge is the upside isn't great but I'll take it if they play as a team
