Tolbert really stepped up tonight leading the team in receiving. He was hurting in the final seconds to the point where it looked like he might have to go out of the game, but he didn’t want to go out. He then goes on to catch the game winner.

Tolbert was Dallas’ best receiver, even Turpin showed something. Lamb is feeling comfy now with his big contract.

I missed the game, but watching the highlights, they showed quite a few clips of him. He really has stepped it up and looks better. Good for him.

Did you notice how Tolbert’s path took him inside the one, BUT he makes his way over the goal line before the catch

If he stays along the 1, he may not get the ball over into the end zone. Good awareness

Love to hear how he's not even a wr4 now.

Sometimes a guy needs time. Crazy right?
......or the opportunity. A lot of his previous receptions always seemed to come at semi-garbage moments, when games were gone.

I wonder if he was the beneficiary of a Steelers Defense that saw Cooks out (not that he's heavily used) and assumed doubling up on CeeDee would kill our passing game and we seldom go to WR3.

Tomlin had already said he was gonna bracket CD in coverage. Im sure Tolbert benefited from it, but I don't think the game plan would've been any different for Pittsburgh if Cooks was playing.

I hope this is Tolbert’s “Miles Austin” game where things just click like they did for Austin vs KC

I hate to be that guy but they would not get the spots they get without Lamb’s presence. His biggest play was due to the respect Lamb commanded giving him single coverage

I have been killing him since he was drafted, but he deserves credit and play a real good game. Offense looks better with him and Turpin then with Cooks starting.
Together they give Dak more options........especially speed. Hell, give Turp a min 5-6 targets per game and hopefully DCs will respect him a bit more.
