He was clutch!
......or the opportunity. A lot of his previous receptions always seemed to come at semi-garbage moments, when games were gone.Love to hear how he's not even a wr4 now.
Sometimes a guy needs time. Crazy right?
It was more a decision to even throw it as it was a bad pass. Can overthrew him on the int. A better throw there and he catches it.
Tomlin had already said he was gonna bracket CD in coverage. Im sure Tolbert benefited from it, but I don't think the game plan would've been any different for Pittsburgh if Cooks was playing.......or the opportunity. A lot of his previous receptions always seemed to come at semi-garbage moments, when games were gone.
I wonder if he was the beneficiary of a Steelers Defense that saw Cooks out (not that he's heavily used) and assumed doubling up on CeeDee would kill our passing game and we seldom go to WR3.
really did. love to see it. he’s had some journeyHe needed a game like this ...........
Easily his best game......
I hate to be that guy but they would not get the spots they get without Lamb’s presence. His biggest play was due to the respect Lamb commanded giving him single coverageTolbert was Dallas’ best receiver, even Turpin showed something. Lamb is feeling comfy now with his big contract.
Together they give Dak more options........especially speed. Hell, give Turp a min 5-6 targets per game and hopefully DCs will respect him a bit more.I have been killing him since he was drafted, but he deserves credit and play a real good game. Offense looks better with him and Turpin then with Cooks starting.
