So with tomorrow being the 9/11 Anniversay and all the Kapernick BS, word is that the entire Seahawks team will stage some type of protest of their own. Talk about BS!

I say since we are AMERICAS TEAM lets who them how it's done! With both the Giants team and the Cowboys standing on their respective sidelines, single file with their hands on their chest showing respect for those lives lost and the families they left left behind without their fathers, monthers, siblings who lost their lives on that day, as well as to show respect for all those in the military who have lost their lives protecting this great country.

Their may be time for protest, but tomorrow is not the day.

Many of the protesters like Kap are actually at the root cause of the problem

If they all got together and focused on being leaders instead just joining the herd and blaming somebody else for the problems then some issues could get resolved.

They are well within their Constitutional rights to protest if they want.

People seem to forget or ignore he is protesting the government and not individual people.
Not the time to be putting blame on anything or anyone. Not the place to argue this stance.

why are their protests BS? Protesting for what you believe is patriotic and a right many people gave their lives to protect.

Protest without action is the act of an attention *****. And that's exactly what's going on, here. Unfortunately we live in a society thrush with a generation that thinks that if they "share" or "like" something on a social media outlet that suddenly they're "activists" and are "doing their part" by bringing light to a cause. It's a joke. 90% of those same people wouldn't actually lift a finger to actually promote change on these issues that they bandy about in their faux outrage. But, hey, as long as they look politically correct in the virtual world, all is good I suppose.

If only half of these people actually knew what a protest was and how to effectively utilize it...................

You didn't notice the irony in your statement? Declaring the blight that is social media THROUGH a very social media??! Technically speaking of course. It gave me a chuckle. Although I understand your meaning. Been off of FB for years cuz I can't stand the BS.

whos to say what is or isn't effective protest? What he's doing is the literal definition of protest and it's generating enough attention and dialogue that there's merit to it. As far as action he's donating a million dollars, which prompted Jed York to do the same.

How about we cancel the game and use those 3 hours for reflection on our feelings?

Kick the damn ball off while there's still some semblance of manhood left in us.

I guess there just aren't enough fans/players, from Missouri.
