Showers Not Promoted to the 53; misreported by Rapoport **NOT TRUE**

Spags summed this up nicely.
You need to potentially add a kicker and you need to add DLaw.
Those two things would come before adding a STer(Showers) --Showers is a SS the same way Bill Bates was.

This staff has a tendancy to hold onto players with no NFL talent because "they like them".
that's actually not a terrible move.
practice squad with 8 guys so you need a few hard working guys that'll do whats asked week in week out to simulate other teams.
not all those guys are gonna be great game day players.

I prefer players that actually have potential to play on Sundays someday.

The current method has proven nothing more than mediocrity.

This also might indicate the end of Sanchez. Showers might be the backup QB and a backup safety. He will play special teams and maybe they hope he doesn't see the field as a regular defender or backup QB. Romo may be getting closer than we think, or Sanchez may be that bad. Or maybe Showers has shwn that much at safety? Lots of possibilities here.

Maybe the Cowboys want to hedge their bets on having both Heath and Showers available to kick. Showers also has the build to be the backup running back in an emergency.

Sanchez isn't going anywhere. His salary is guaranteed since he was on the roster for week 1.

Who wins the Golden/Showers matchup when we play the Lions?
