I didn't see the game but they were throwing in 4th and threw 2 TD's in 4th quarter to win 52-0.

By todays standards that equals running it up here. I'm with Shula and like a killer mentality..... The great, great teams have it.

Well there's your answer, Hos. He just completely disregarded all the facts you put forth.

Nors would put a plate full of crap right next to a plate of lasagna and try to convince you they are the same meal.

Who was throwing? Who were they throwing to? What was the primary way Miami beat people?

Today's standards don't mean squat. Don Shula didn't run it up in that game. You'll find no one who ever accused Shula of running up the score of games. 347 wins, the most by any coach in NFL History and he never was accused of poor sportsmanship that I know of.

He was a true statesman of the game.

I agree, he went after a teams jugular and was a hard nosed coach. And they threw (two) 4th quarter TD's to win 52-0.

Thanks for validating that.

And in 1972 teams beaten 52-0 were embarrassed and quite.

Today, they play the NO respect card - LOL

Oh well, your choice to be wrong. I could post the facts of the 2 TDs, but why bother? Your head is in the sand and you're intent on looking foolish.

Feel free to look the info up if you want to know the truth. I know you won't. That's too obvious from past "discussions" which you seem to have decided to revive for some unfathomable reason.

Pity.
