We're all freaking addicts and it is the only fix until the Draft.

I wondered what you're all going to eat and how many people are invited to wherever you're going to be watching.

About 10 people are invited to my house. I'm doing BBQ pork ribs seasoned with bell pepper, jalapeños, red onion, and lemon, cole slaw, deviled eggs, and then of course chips and all the regular crap.

If you are doing any kind of BBQ, what sauce are you using? I am using Famous Dave's hot version called Devil's Spit.

deviled eggs

A very inspired and underrated choice. Excellent.

No party for me, but I'll watch the game.

FWIW, my favorite store-bought BBQ sauce is Stubbs.

Nothing as extravagant as Hostile's BBQ. But I am going with my Super Bowl Queso Dip. Also throw in some pizza croissant rolls, Chex party mix, Little Smokies, and of course... a case of beer (Miller Lite - proud sponsor of the Dallas Cowboys) for me and the boys, and some fruity drinks for my wife and the other ladies who will be attending.

Let us not forget that I will be adorning my authentic, white, Tony Romo jersey. Because dangit, it should be the Cowboys and not the Gnats that are playing against the Cheaters.

Not watching it, and the wife and I are going to see Cloverfield/Rambo flicks in a row.

I am recording it on the DVR then fast forwarding through the game to get to the commercials.

I would steer away from Rambo. Just looks pathetic in my opinion. A 50+ year old dude in the rain forest killing people just doesn't seem too real in my opinion.

On the other hand, Cloverfield is an amazing movie if you ask me. Saw it last weekend with the wife. After the movie, nobody said a word, just got up and left with blank looks on their face.

I like Stubbs Original too.

I really don't want to watch it, but I probably will because it's the last "real" football game for months.

Of course, I have a good excuse not to watch . . . . time difference! :D

Nope flag football practice....better things to do, I'm sick and tired of both Teams

I'll have the Puppy Bowl on while working around the house. Call it super whatever, but I have no interest in a repeat of the Giants and Pats game played just a few weeks ago.

Besides they're awarding an MVP (most valuable puppy) this year and I want to get my bets down early. The drama is already building.

No way am I going to watch the Super Bowl.
By the time the Super Bowl starts I hope to be making the turn onto the South Course at Torrey Pines GC in San Diego.

No Super Bowl for me this year.

There is a ball game this week?

Sorry dude, my season ended when the Cowboys lost.

Why would I want to waste time watching a bunch of cheaters and a team led by Napolean Dynamite?

I'd rather watch paint dry. :D

Actually, Stallone is 61. :geezer:

Makes it even more appropriate not to watch him.

I'll be watching and hope it is a great game. I will have a few friends over not sure what is on the menu but I'm looking forward to the game.

Not entirely correct. The TV will be on for the commercials and so I can keep up with the score. A much bigger fix (for me anyways) will be the scouting combine in a couple of weeks. I'll watch every second of that.

Not interested in the game whatsoever.

Taking the family skiing to Banff for most of the day. Coming home and going to my parents for dinner and a visit.

I may look at the ticker for a final score just out of curiosity, but that's it. I don't care about the highlights, players interviews or pundits breakdown of the game. I'd rather read a good book or work out instead.

That's a much better day than watching the friggin' Patriots and the friggin' Giants, IMO.

Ditto.

I just smoked up a brisket yesterday, with some Stubbs sauce. Yum.

I won't watch. Every time I see one of those NY mugs, I want to vomit.

That's our game....we should be there.

Yes, I know it sounds like sour grapes...yes, I know the Giants deserve to be there.

But it doesn't change the fact that we're the best team in the NFC that got caught at the right time.

I won't watch another pro game until August pre-season.

I'm not watching it.

I'll be painting baseboards and/or ceilings in my house.

Likely some kind of sausage with onions, mushrooms, and a seasoned tomato sauce in a crockpot. Plenty of Diet Mountain Dew (drinking and painting don't mix).
