Cowboys picks:
17. Dallas Cowboys: Javon Kinlaw, IDL, South Carolina

In the majority of my mocks this draft season, Kinlaw was off the board by this point. When he wasn’t, the Cowboys ended his slide and that happens again here as they nab my 11th-ranked prospect. Dallas bolstered its interior defensive line with the free-agent additions of Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe, but Maliek Collins departed in free agency and second-rounder Trysten Hill had a disappointing rookie campaign. Given his blend of size, length, strength and quickness, Kinlaw has as much upside as any interior defender in this class.

51. Dallas Cowboys: Julian Okwara, EDGE, Notre Dame
82. Dallas Cowboys: A.J. Green, CB, Oklahoma State
123. Dallas Cowboys: Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Missouri
165. Dallas Cowboys: L’Jarius Sneed, S, Louisiana Tech
180. Dallas Cowboys: David Woodward, LB, Utah State

Same players available, I'd go:
1(17) Kinlaw DT South Carolina
2(51) Bryce Hall CB Virginia
3(82) Terrell Burgess S Utah
4(123) Albert O TE Missouri
5a(165)James Proche WR SMU
5b(180) Kenny Robinson S West Virginia (St.Louis - XFL)

I could live with both versions. The SI draft would certainly replenish the DL. The second would replenish the secondary, both of which could use some help.

I 'll throw out a different one just for options sake.

1 - McKinney, S
2 - Elliott, DT
3 - Kareem, DE
4 - Al O, TE
5 - Hill, CB

1-Kinlaw isn't falling to #17
2-If Dallas doesnt select a cornerback before Rd 3 they're nuts.

Would rather have:
1st - Kinlaw (Depending on knee) DT
2nd - Igbinoghene - CB
3rd - Trautman - TE
4th - Robinson - CB/S
5th - Ismael - C
5th - Robinson - S from XFL

If we don’t pick quality cornerbacks in this draft we could be in trouble for the future. Only Brown is signed for after next year. SI has us picking A.J. Green in the 3rd - that is probably at least 2 rounds to early.

1 Kinlaw DT (no change)
51 Bryce Hall CB
82 Alton Robinson Edge
123 Lynn Bowden Jr. WR
165 L'Jarius Sneed Safety (Sneed could also play CB I would also consider the safety from Michigan Mettulus more of a thumper)
180 Dalton Keene TE

I love that draft.
Kinlaw would be a phenomenal addition to this DL

I have absolutely zero issues with the SI draft. It may be my favorite one out of all the mocks I've seen.

I think teams who pass on Bryce Hall are gonna regret it. He shared a defensive backfield with Thornhill and was by far the best DB on the team. You want a tough team leader who can tackle and go get the ball, that's BH.

No. 0 players who will see anything but spot duty.

Then tell us based on this mock who you would have taken at these spots that would have played significant snaps.

For example, here are the next picks after Okwara:

52. Los Angeles Rams: Isaiah Wilson, OT, Georgia

53. Philadelphia Eagles: Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Auburn

54. Buffalo Bills: Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, LSU

55. Baltimore Ravens (via NE): Michael Pittman Jr., WR, USC

56. Miami Dolphins (via NO): Matt Peart, OT, Connecticut

57. Houston Texans: Jordan Elliott, IDL, Missouri

58. Minnesota Vikings: Neville Gallimore, IDL, Oklahoma

59. Seattle Seahawks: Marlon Davidson, IDL, Auburn

60. Baltimore Ravens: Robert Hunt, IOL, Louisiana

61. Tennessee Titans: K.J. Hamler, WR, Penn State

62. Green Bay Packers: Jacob Eason, QB, Washington

63. Kansas City Chiefs (via SF): Cam Akers, RB, Florida State

64. Seattle Seahawks (via KC): Kyle Dugger, S, Lenoir-Rhyne

65. Cincinnati Bengals: Lucas Niang, OT, TCU

66. Washington: Chase Claypool, WR, Notre Dame

67. Detroit Lions: Justin Madubuike, IDL, Texas A&M

68. New York Jets (via NYG): Lloyd Cushenberry III, IOL, LSU

69. Carolina Panthers: Malik Harrison, LB, Ohio State

70. Miami Dolphins: Tyler Biadasz, IOL, Wisconsin

71. Los Angeles Chargers: Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia

Who should we take based on this mock that would contribute significantly? I like some of the DTs but if you took Kinlaw early you probably aren't coming back in the 2nd round with another DT.

Quickly maybe Hamler could start at the slot WR spot. Biadasz? Would he start at C for us?
