17. Dallas Cowboys: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida
51. Dallas Cowboys:
Kyle Dugger, S, Lenoir-Rhyne
82. Dallas Cowboys: Neville Gallimore, IDL, Oklahoma
123. Dallas Cowboys: Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Missouri
164. Dallas Cowboys: L’Jarius Sneed, CB/S, Louisiana Tech
179. Dallas Cowboys: Quintez Cephus, WR, Wisconsin
231. Dallas Cowboys: Joe Reed, WR, Virginia

Woof....wow I wouldn't be happy there.

Not at all a Henderson fan. I like Duggar but I don't think he can start any time soon. Youd figure there to be a better S available at 51.

The next two picks are pretty good though.

Man I'm really hoping for better.

I may be in the minority but I am not convinced Duggar is worthy of pick #51. A small is Fresno State. Lenoir-Rhyne is off the map small.

I liked Albert Okwuegbunam when he ran a 4.49 at the combine. But after reading, and listening to "experts" talk, about him, he is a big no.

The rest is fine by me. Henderson may not be #1 on my wish list but he fills a need and he may be the best CB in the draft. There is a good chance he may be the BPA when the Cowboys are on the clock. I prefer him to Chaisson.

That wouldn't be a bad haul, but I don't see any of those guys being a year 1 starter. But solid depth all around.

Would prefer to take WR higher, but those 2 we took are solid players. Cephus ran slow at the combine, if not for that he'd be talked about as a 3rd or 4th round guy.

1st 2 I'd be ok with. Center or Hamler in the 3rd and OL or DL in the 4th please

I really like Reed. Good returner too and tough as nails. RB convert

I agree. At the highest, he goes third round. I'm saying high fourth.

Pick 17 and 123 are good.

I'm a gambler, especially on athleticism, but I just can't get on board with Kyle Dugger.

I also don't like Gallimore much but at 82 the value is there.

Last 3 picks don't do much for me but would be curious to see what Cephus could do in an NFL offense.

Outside of Henderson this is an awful awful draft. I would grade it a D.

Small school is really the only negative with Dugger.

If you study game footage and didn't know anything about the schools playing, Dugger looked as good or better at everything than Delpit.

He showed the anticipation and range (4.48 forty) to play FS in the NFL.

He has enough size/length (6-1, 217, 32-7/8" arm length) and demonstrated tacking ability to play as an in the box Safety in the NFL.

He often played man coverage on slot WRs.

Okwuegbunam is OK as a 4th round pick. His issue is that some people over-rate him due to his measurable(s). He does not play to his 4.49 forty. Devin Asaisi shows better athleticism on the field despite a 4.73 forty.

The Level of Competition is absolutely significant though.

It increases the scouting departments degree of difficultly in evaluating players.

It doesn't change the actual player (Larry Allen, DWare, etc.).
