Oh, I agree with this but we could say this about any rookie head coach or one coaching a new team. My thing, as stated in many posts, Shotty has just as much of a chance to succeed as any of the other rookie head coaches. But for some odd reason, his coaching tenure is labeled a failure by many fans and media before his first game.
I think some underestimate the importance to managing people, especially players AND coaches. If we look back at some of the great NFL head coaches (Parcells, Johnson, Landry, Belichick), we notice they not only had good control of their players and team but also staff and coordinators.
