I'd be good with it.

Robinson is a perfect fit to once again solidify the offensive line if the Cowboys insist on keeping Collins inside. He'd be on my short list at 28. Samuel brings much needed speed to the offense and we won't have to take Zeke off the field all the time to use it. Wilson is good value late in the 3rd.

Please enlighten me how Howard is "an nonathletic CB"
He was less athletic than I hoped for. He had some good games, which is what counts, but he did not look or perform like a fluid athlete, which is what we need in a CB.

Based on how the mock fell, here are few choices remaining at each pick

1-28) Charles Harris, Tak McKinley, Tre White, Gareon Conley, Robinson, Marlon Humphrey, Obi, David Njoku, Kevin King, etc

2-60) Sidney Jones, Zay Jones, Montavius Adams, Chiobe Awuzie, etc

3-92) Wilson, Jake Butt, Ryan Anderson, Chris Godwin, Rasul Douglas, Eddie Jackson, etc

What a joke.

indeed.for a team which shockingly takes Zeke off on 3rd downs to draft a guy like Samuel is irresponsible.i have zero faith in our coaches to utilize him to his capacity.

How on earth did the guy that was 4th in 3 cone and 2nd in 20 yard shuttle among CB's not look like a fluid athlete? Both times are elite for a 6'1 CB and shows how fluid he is and that he has the feet and hips to cover anybody. Admit it, you looked at his combine 40 time and said this guy is "an nonathletic CB"

No, I watched his games and had high hopes for him. I watched him go through the DB drills at the Combine and felt he was all over the place. I love DBs and pay close attention to their back pedals, back pedal height, hips, and any drill that has them doing game-like DB things.

I was ok with Robinson but they lost me after that.

The Wilson one was really appalling. He threw a weird fit at his Pro Day.

http://draftanalyst.com/pro-day-march-27-update-houston

Redshirt sophomore Howard Wilson ran the forty in the high-4.5s (4.58s), similar to the time he ran at the combine.

Then thing got really strange.

Wilson refused to participate in position drills. When scouts asked if he was injured he told them no and that it was recommended he not take part in drills. Scouts tried to coax him into drills by reminding him Myles Garrett, expected to be the first pick of the draft, was scheduled to work out on Thursday. Wilson would still not participate in drills.

Later on Wilson was throwing the ball to former Cougars signal caller Greg Ward Jr., who was warming up for receiver drills. According to eyewitnesses, someone ran down and yelled for Wilson to stop throwing the ball -- which he did.

We rated Wilson as a free agent before all this took place and this only confirms our grade.
