27 OT Anthony Davis Rutgers Jr. 6-6 325 Davis has slipped due to character issues that have surfaced in the scouting season, but since when has Dallas been wary of taking a chance on a player with a red flag or two? The Cowboys need to find a replacement for the aging Flozell Adams at some point early in this draft.

Yawn. Another national writer, like Kirwan and others, who thinks Jerry just drafts every idiot out there. It really gets old.

Honestly, it's a useful device that allows you to realize you have to take anything else they say with a huge grain of salt (or just not read it altogether).

I'd take Anthony Davis at pick # 27 in a heart beat. Had that outlined in a thread I put up just 10 minutes ago.

I know, it really doesn't surprise me anymore. But still, you'd think they *might* have paid some attention to the way we've drafted the last few years. Either that's too much to ask, or they're catering to all the Cowboys haters out there. (Or they don't like Jerry/the team themselves.)

We don't draft off the wall any longer but Davis at 27 is excellent value and a steal. And even though I believe we feel Doug Free is the replacement, that's a pick we can't pass on.

Pass. I'd trade out for a guy that likes to work harder like Vladimir Ducasse.

Davis would be a steal at 27. That's a free fall if he ends up that low.

now about those character issues....that's the tough part.

Rutgers LT Anthony Davis has rescheduled his Pro Day workout for March 30.

Davis refused to weigh in at Rutgers' Pro Day last week, citing a hamstring injury and a stomach virus. His absence from drills raised concerns due to his history of reporting out of shape. Once considered a likely top-ten pick, Davis' stock has been slipping over the past month.

Who was even the last guy with character flags we drafted?

The game tape is too good for him too fall that far. A 20 year old prototypical LT @ 27?

All this bad press is just scouts trying to drop him to where theyre at

I agree. A lot of people have this guy as a top 10 player. He's just young (one the youngest in this class) and needs to mature a little.

Former Rutgers tackle Anthony Davis, whose agent said he did not finish his workout for pro scouts earlier this month because of illness, has rescheduled for March 30, according to a report on NFL.com.

Davis' agent, Sunny Shah, sent an email to all NFL clubs letting them know that Davis will be available at Rutgers for positional drills, measurements, and one-on-one meetings.

After Davis left Rutgers Pro Day early, Shah said he had not been feeling well and had also tweaked his hamstring.

Uh-oh. Someone got Hulk mad.
