9. Dwayne Bowe drops the median age of Dallas receivers: The Cowboys know the Terry and Terrell Show can't go on much longer. Terry Glenn and Terrell Owens are both products of that famous (or infamous) 1996 receiving draft class, and are entering their 12th NFL seasons. The 6-2, 221-pound Bowe would give Dallas a big receiver who could eventually replace Owens. While the LSU product is not a burner (4.51), he's adept at using his size and height to his advantage, making him a weapon on jump balls and fade routes.
Dallas wouldn't need Bowe's role to be anything more than a No. 3 option this season, meaning he wouldn't enter the league with huge expectations and could escape the burden that seems to be overwhelming for so many other first-round receivers. Taking him would also give quarterback Tony Romo someone to develop an on-field connection with over the course of the years to come, much like Drew Bledsoe and Glenn had in New England and Dallas. Romo to Bowe has a nice ring to it, no?
