Doubtful. Owens primary gripe was his contarct. Philly believe he signed it and should play and he felt he was underpayed and should get a new deal. That led to him firing his agent that negotiated the contract.
His gripe with McNabb was that McNabb defended the organization and not the player. McNabb was a 100 million dollar man and his loyalty was to Reid and company as opposed to TO. It was all down hill from there.......
Had Jerry not paid TO his money, nothing would be different and TO would not be happy.
