Hello, i've read this forum for years now, first time poster. I remember reading about SI writing about Romo last week? Did he appear on the cover by chance? He sure played like an official SI coverguy last week? Just wondering. Thanks for all the great insight and info.

Brett Favre was on the cover, I believe.

EDIT: Oh, and welcome by the way.

1st post after reading for years and its about what cover Romo was on?

No offense, just thought that was amusing :)

See what Tony Romo does to people.

:welcome:

Not a bandwagoner at all. Dedicated life long fan. Just remembered Romo being mentioned in SI and was hoping to explain the Saints debacle with a jinx that I don't even believe in. Since I'm here now, where do apply for membership in G.R.O.Z.? I believe: Romo is for real, MBIII is more valuable than J.J., I have eternal hope in our D but no faith, Tuna or T.O. will be gone next year, Since we can't draft or sign a F.S. we gotta' clone Woody, Terry Glenn is underrated, Roy Williams (reluctantly) is overrated, Columbo deserves the credit, Witten and Ware are the heart and soul, Dan Snyder is an idiot, McNabb is done, and maybe just maybe this old fashioned whippin' from the Saints was just what the doctor ordered!

Oh, and welcome.

Yes, there is some mystical force that dictates a player's performance based on his appearance on the cover of SI.

Thats the Madden cover people.

And apparently there is a fathead curse. I forget who said that but I think the poster was high at the moment because I would love to be Chad Johnson.

The mental aspect of the SI curse may be real, no "mystical force". I (he) understand the Tuna is truly a superstitious guy. I am not, but I understand alot of athletes are. Since Romo was not on the cover, then we can be certain the Cowboys simply layed an egg Sunday night. Curses...blah!
