SI: MM Took a Step Toward Proving Himself As Cowboys Coach

He’s got a long ways to go but it was a very good win for him and Dallas. It proved the team isn’t giving up and he still has their ear. Long way to go but nice w.

some folks here will never give him/them any praise.

He's not Garrett bad when it comes to backups, but every positive the Bengals had came off dumb penalties on our players, a common theme with his team's. It hadn't been fixed and will probably be why we either miss the playoffs or make a first round exit again

But it is. They went to the SB last season. As everyone had them mud stomping us before the season even started.
Double standards always in play on here.
No it isn’t. Nobody is going to look back on his tenure and say , omggg he beat the bengals in week 2, stop it.

Just like no one will look back and say...oh but that loss to TB.
Most had us at 0-2 and said they would be glad if we were 1-1.....stop it....

It was his job to step in and assist his struggling OC during last year's second half offensive decline. In particular the SF playoff loss. Same held true for the opener. Same held true for yesterday's second half.

As not the biggest KM fan, as you've made known, THIS is how a real HC should handle this.
He needs to learn the playbook terminology, I mean it's only been 3 years, and tell KM to get the h*** outta the way and call plays if and when the offense struggles.

IF Jerry fires him for that at least he went out with a speck of remaining self respect.

Apply your standards to the HC as you do the OC and don't hide behind Grandpa Jerry's do not touch ultimatum. He needs to grow a pair, call the plays if KM struggles and deal with whatever Coach Jones's consequences are for that.

Double standards indeed.

So we are back to developing coaches? Another predictable ending coming up.

Mike seemed quiet and very focused during the game, he showed little emotion. He knew how important this game was and so he should.

Very pleased for him.

Yeah, it's just this time it's a 2 decades plus SB winning Head Coach in Training taking a back seat to his inexperienced OC in order to get paid.
And not Moore being Garrett Part II.

McCheese being the one getting the Training from both his subordinate and his drunk boss.

And has no problem whatsoever falling in line with it at all.

Another paid Yes Man.

Same as it ever was.
