how the NFC is lackluster compared to the powerhouse AFC full of studs and stars.

How about that AFC as it stands after week 4? We know there are at least three good football teams in the AFC that are legit. New England, Indianapolis, and I guess Pittsburgh who just recently lost the title of unbeaten to Arizona.

Where did San Diego go? Where did the Denver Broncos go? They were always good for at least 10 wins. I know it's only the first quarter of the season, but San Diego was at least suppose to be right there with the Pats and the Colts helping to confirm the AFC's dominance over the NFC.

How about the NFC as it stands after week 4? From what I see, there is the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers who are sitting atop their respective divisions at 4-0. Then we have Tampa Bay who is suprising many at 3-1.

So all of the talk about how it's a toss up over on the NFC side can just go away. The AFC, aside from their current big two, Pats and Colts, is as much of a toss up as the NFC and it's current big two, the Cowboys and Packers.

The Colts and Pats may have tenure when it comes to being considered good teams of the AFC and the NFL as a whole, but pretty much every team beyond the two in the AFC is as shaky as the NFC's second tier.

We will see how we stack up in 2 weeks.

COWBOYS!!!

both afc and nfc are 8-8 in non conference so I would say it is pretty even so far

The AFC West is just astoundingly bad. The Raiders might be the best team in the division.

If we beat new england, the haters will say............you didn't beat them in new england. They come up with a new excuse every week.

You realize that the Detroit Lions are also 3-1 the same record as Pitt:lmao:

Outside the Cowboys the NFC East looks horrible

Exactly the reason why I really enjoyed seeing 1-2 Cards beat a powerhouse, unbeaten team, Steelers from AFC. :laugh1:

Remember 1992? The Bills were the best in football, hands down. The AFC was to power then. Guess you just have to step up and take it!

Don't forget the 3-1 Seahawks are looking pretty good. They are one fluke play from being 4-0. (They did beat Tampa too)

And now can we stop talking about the Steelers in the same breath as the Colts and the Patriots?

If for not other reason than their QB is no where near Manning or Brady. Not even close.

The best part about that season was that we stepped right up and punched the Bills in the mouth. "We're not Houston."

They didn't retaliate because they couldn't. They didn't even wipe the blood away. They just let it add to the feeding frenzy.
