As we are all aware, Jerry explains to us that Garrett is a process....

From what we all see, this process produces one consistent outcome, a .500 season and blown chance to make playoffs. It has also shown us that our current HC is not fit for his position. His game management ability may be the worst in the NFL and is always being mentioned by the commentators.

I, as a customer and fan of the Dallas Cowboys, reject this product Jerry is giving us. Would you buy a truck that for 3 years straight the same problem is occurring and they neglect to fix it? No, you would not. The ONLY ways for Jerry to totally realize the disgust we as a fan base have for this "pet project experiment" is to voice it aloud as well as affect sales.

I for one have made a New Years Resolution to not purchase any Cowboys clothing/memorabilia/anything for the year as well as I will be cancelling my plans to go to a game next year. Perhaps buy a ticket and smile at my empty seat from home. I dearly hope many of you follow suit, I cringe at watching this team again next year under garrett already.

The eagles fired a GREAT coach because of mediocrity. Brought in a ROOKIE coach, and now are in the playoffs. There is ZERO excuse. They switched defensive schemes as well...

When your HC loses you games because of his management of the game.... that is absolutely unacceptable. We win that GB game and Lions game.... this game last night would have been a rest day.

Just think, as minimal amount you may spend per year on cowboys gear... Every penny counts, then and only then, when Jerry witnesses his product sales in decline... as a smart business owner, he must get his ship back on track.

Thanks for reading, Happy New Year!

Haven't spent one red cent on them, Had season tickets, I would fly down, Gave them up cold turkey after the 13-3 debacle with wade, I watch the games on TV like I'm watching a situation comedy. The only thing the bothers me aside from this pathetic team is being bugged by family and friends that no I'm a die hard cowboy fan. All I do now is say "they Suck". What a time to be a cowboy fan, I feel bad for the younger generation of fans, if this continues we will be losing a ton of newer fans.

I agree with you on almost everything, except for buying a ticket to not show up.

You'd only be spitting yourself there.

The used car salesman would be getting your money anyway, just like he does when fans sell off their tickets to opposing teams' fans.

Jerry doesn't care, he got his money.

The only way to affect real change is a large scale, concerted effort to withhold financial support to this team and owner.

These businessmen react to one thing - money - and if he starts making significantly less, or better yet losing it, only then will he realize that this team is more than his plaything.

Great points. I have vowed not to spend a dime on anything cowboys this year unless progress is made towards creating a good product (ie coach replacement)

 Not saying whether I agree with you relentless calls for change or not, but seriously... do you honestly think that would ever happen?

Can someone just organize a fan strike until Jerry Jones hires a GM. This last lost alone isn't devastating, but the whole season and the review of the staff hiring's over the last 4 plus years are. I'm at my final straw as a fan and shopping for a new nfl team to follow is becoming more and more of a likley option.

I couldn't help but think many other fans are in the same shoes. So take a stand. Get a movement going that ask Jones to step away from control. He is a good business mind, and if a 30 plus % drop in attendance could happen you'd think he'd wake up and do something.

Stop attending games and supporting this filth. You want to support the individual players? Watch it on tv, but don't fill the stands and Jerrys ego.

Precisely! And the radio stations need to be bombarded with similar outcries for something to change. Jerry may own the team, but we as fans/consumers dictate how his business is affected.

Remember the phrase "the squeaky wheel gets the grease..."

If we the fans got our collective act together and stopped paying for this?

Absolutely.

It's how change happens.

If enough people collectively get together for change, that change happens.

I am sick of it? Can we develop a vaccine?

What else is there to say. Since 96 fans have been dealing with this. I don't know about you all but I have become rather numb. Don't get to high don' get to low and that is due to the mediocrity of this team.

I will be shameless here; I went to two Panthers games this season. I spent my money on the team in my backyard. Did it last year too. Heck, I even bought some gear to wear to the games. My kids are Panthers fans. They could not care less about the "rich history" of the Dallas Cowboys, because they only know the "average team that chokes". That was my ten year old son's words. That is his history with the Dallas Cowboys and I simply got tired of trying to win him over. Such is the reality for anyone twenty and under I suppose.

I still watched every Dallas game this season because that is what I have done since I was five years old (thanks DVR!), but I could not wrap my mind around spending money to go see a product that I was not confident in and one that my kids would be annoyed by because they have more fun watching their favorite team play.

I have spent money on this site because I enjoy it and the people that post here, but apathy has somewhat set in as far as the actual team goes. Too many soul crushing defeats with no real reward nor any accountability from within the organization to fix the real issues that ail this once proud franchise. Stinks that it has come to that point, because I would never in my life have considered that at one time, but if Jerry Jones doesn't care enough to really fix the problem so I just have a hard time caring myself.

What I'm sick of is WHY Dallas is mediocre.

Though I do agree that collectively people can make change happen. We have seen that in many areas in life. I just don't think you could get enough people to make a dent in the Cowboys revenue to make a point.

You can't control what everyone else does.

Do your part.

You can control that.

Just don't be apathetic.

Your 100% correct. People tend to think "well my $100 won't make a difference..." Bogus! It surely will, especially if thousands of people don't spend that $100.

Plus you get to smile and know your not supporting this pathetic mediocre product that is presented to all of us!
