Not only did a man and woman in Missouri allegedly fail to get medical help for a friend who was apparently overdosing on a painkiller. They reportedly posed for a selfie picture with his dead body, before leaving the corpse by the side of a road.
The story was first reported by the Smoking Gun website, which published the Newtown County Sheriff's affidavit in the case.
The victim, Dennis (Nathan) Meyer, 30, injected himself with the powerful painkiller Dilaudid, according to the newspaper, citing court documents.
Meyer passed out in a car driven by Chelsie Berry. She then called Jared Prier, meeting in a McDonald's parking lot.
According to police, the couple noticed that the victim stopped breathing, but neither wanted to get help because they were allegedly high on meth and Xanax, the Daily News writes.
