Sideline coaching

I never see him “strategizing”. Meeting with posistion groups and or individuals for instruction.

Its over used, but his best traits seem to be his maniacal clapping and his ability to congratulate players. Which isn’t great.

not his job

not his job
Yes it is. As the HC he should talk to any and all groups to support his coordinators and coaches. He just doesn't want that responsibility or the coordinators told him to stay out fo their huddle.

When was the last time you saw Jerry on the sidelines?
No idea, a few years ago? When was the last time Tony Romo took a snap? When was the last time we won a playoff game? When was the last time we won a Super Bowl? It doesn’t stop anyone else around here from bringing those subjects up like they were yesterday.

This is the Zone, where twenty years ago was like a week ago!

I would think when givin a position of authority you would not want to be over looked. I want to do my job.
Now if the boss comes in what I'm I going to say? nothing but Garrett maybe doesn't want to be intrusive.
So I'll tell a story; I think it was Eastman Kodak while on safari was tracking a dangerous animal and he had
a back up gun man along. This animal charged but Kodak held his position and the animal came hard to right
at the last second Kodak's weapon didnt fire! The back up gunman fired and killed the animal but Kodak never moved.
When asked about this Kodak famously said," trust your organization". Garrett is of this school.

Garrett has been firing blanks.....its his team, but the organization isn't working.

Jason seems like the type of guy that smiles in your face, while throwing you under the bus behind closed doors and getting another guy to do the dirty work..

I can't remember the last time I saw a Cowboys coach rip into a player. Get in their face and tell them to pull their head outta their butts!! Does that even happen in the NFL anymore?

Oh boy. Another post about how we need a guy who screams. Y'all must love replays of spit flying out of coaches' mouths

I do. At least a ticked off stare ala Tom Landry. Landry didnt have to yell to get their attention. As a head coach, I would rip my staff, they would rip their players. The players normally liked their coaches enough that me ripping the coach would make the players play harder for them. I always wanted my players to have a great relationship with their coaches, so they would bust their butts for them everytime i chewed them out. I didnt chew out my players very often, i saved that for special occasions, but when I did, they got the message.
Every one has their own style.
