SO maybe he's a head case but sign Verba for the rest of the year and solidify our LT spot. Yank Pettiti and try Colombo at RT..

Maybe this combo will make the difference for our playoff push.

Bledsoe MUST have more time and we cannot keep playing MAX protect and only giving Drew 2 options against 4-5 defenders to try and complete a pass.

NOT WORKING….

BP mentioned in the PC that it's too late to sign someone as a FA and expect them to really contribute (other than ST) this late in the season. You might be able to get away with it at another position, but not LT

I agree....at the bye week is when we had our chance...we didn't do it and now we are stuck with Tucker.

It's to late to make any type of switch...I'd rather see Columbo play some LT, but it appears BP has him at the RT position.\

At this point we have to go with what we have....

I went as far to ALMOST say the loss of Flo may cost us the playoffs, but did not get quite that bold. Well....my fears are coming true on the left side. We can handle helping out Pettiti and game planning for that, but not both sides...it's cost us big time!

Marc is coming along according to reports, but no way is he in our plans for this year.

I disagree...if Petitti or Tucker continue to get abused, I think we might see a change at OT.

Ross demanded the Cowboys give him a multiple year contract with a huge signing bonus when they brought him in for a workout.

Agreed. I think it may be too much to ask from Columbo to make too much of an impact this season. Hopefully, he'll continue to strengthen his leg and can get a good training camp under his belt. Then he'll be a beast.

Isn't Colombo only signed through next year, if so hopefully another offseason and we'll get an idea if he's worth locking up.

Yep, Verba wanted a long term, lucrative deal. Not that it wouldn't be worth considering from a statistical view - but his personality apparently turned them off.

Verba is just as bad as TO.

B/w Tucker getting manhandled consistently and a major league a-hole ripping up our locker room-I'll gladly take the former, Thank You.

If Ross Verba was worth anything, do you think he would have sat this long as a free agent?

You know what is funny? No one seems to consider that BP sees these guys in practice everyday. Where as we do not. But yet weseem to think that another player is obviously better than thhe one we have starting. I think if Columbo was playing better than Peiteti then he would be playing already.

What's it going to be then, eh?

I think it would really be nice if everyone just forgot about Ross Verba.

We had him in, passed and that's it.

End of story.

I don't know...Maybe five nut jobs on the o-line would be more productive than LA and four choirboys?

You don't bring in a guy that hasn't played in almost two and put him in the starting lineup unless you really don't like your qb's.
