lol yes they can. remember the cowboys have almost 20 million in cap space. even if carr signs for 10 mill per deal, his cap hit this year isnt gonna even half that amount. they'll be able to sign carr, orton and a couple more players easily.

How mad would you be as a Texan's fan to see your team cut Eric Winston who had about $11.5 over 2 years in non-guaranteed dollars for a 28 year old RT with no injury history? They could have received a 3rd or 4th round pick for him from about 5 different teams.

They have a very good team but those guys have signed a bunch of serviceable but not great players to 4 and 5 year deals like Jacoby Jones, Kevin Walter and Owen Daniels. I'd rather have Winston than any of those 3 considering my center and right guard are also free agents.

Meyers is seeking some where around 7/8 years 54million and 25mill guaranteed. Texans fans are talking about this and to put this in perspective Houston would rather lose Myers of Winston.
