1. Defense is gelling and looking stronger. They played a great game and held one of the best QBs in the business to a lousy stat line.

2. We are still 7-1 in the NFC. It sucks to lose any game— and it especially sucks when you get manhandled — but everything is still in front of this team.

3. They played the game down 27% of their starting players. There are no excuses, next guy up etc… they did not execute and lost. BUT— they stand to play their best ball when they get these guys back in Dec.

4. Amari was dinged up before he went on IR. Yes it sucks to lose him for 2 games, but when he returns he will have had essentially 3 weeks of rest. Hopefully the extra time allows his hammys and lower body to get right.

Thoughts for the future:

1. OL…. This is a different team without Tyron. When he returns, I would put Steele back at RT and move Collins to LG and see what we have.

2. Micah… Thank the Lord Almighty. This kid is amazing and I am so glad we drafted him. Defense is fun to watch again.

3. Pollard… more snaps please. At RB, at WR, out of the wildcat— I do not care. But we need his juice in this offense.

4. Dak had an awful game. But I loved his presser and can understand why he is the unquestioned leader of the team. Loved how he stood up for Coop. Need a W on Thurs— but despite the stumble vs Denver and KC— I still think he is the right man for the job. Gotta take the good with the bad, and things went south for us yesterday no doubt.

5. Grateful for the short week, and even more grateful we are at home on Thurs. As Parcells said— you are what you are by T Day— so we will either be 8-3 or 7-4. But we will be leading the NFCE by a nice margin, and we will be 7-1 vs the NFC no matter what.

Let’s get that W on Thurs and get ready to play our best football in Dec

People want to say our team sucks now because of the offense struggled yesterday. They ignore the fact the defense played much better than expected.
I get the concerns people having with the offense but people should be also encouraged that the defense is going to be much better going down the stretch.

T-Day is a must win game IMO.
Eagles and Giants play each other next game, and WFT hosts a bad Seahawks team.

So WFT will gain a game if we do not win. Eagles will most likely also gain a game. That will be 2 games they picked up if we do not win. And only will be 1 1/2 games back for the Eagles.

I think with Tyron likely back in the lineup and being at home, we can bounce back vs LVR. NOS is looking like a great chance for a W as well

I think when we have D Law, Gregory, Parsons, and Gallimore in the front 7 at the same time— the D is going to cause teams a lot of problems.

Just like we saw yesterday, when you can bully an OL— you can shut down an offense. I think we can bully some teams when we get some reinforcements.

That said— this offense needs to play better when it comes to any talk of Jan/Feb success. We have stumbled 2 out of 3 games— will be interesting to see how they respond on a short week

i'm with it. thanks for sharing some positivity. i'm super bullish on this team still. and i'm a pessimist

The lining is that it is all there in front of them, they control their own destiny for the East and playoff seeding unless TB wins out.

The two easiest games left are LV and NY but NO, WFT twice, PHL and AZ are going to be tough and that AZ game comes down to what they're playing for at that time. There will be 2 games left and they should be fighting for homefield but this has been a weird season. The Cowboys have 3 straight road games after LV, let's hope the Christmas spirit of past Decembers doesn't decide to visit us.

The last game is against PHL and that could be for the division, if they stay hot and the Cowboys stumble. 5 of PHL's last 6 games are divisional and the Jets. We need no worse than a split with WFT for PHL.

imagine last years defense going against the chiefs

the defense has been a pleasent surprise

we just need offense defense and st to show up every game because they all dont

End the losing streak at 1, get healthy and try to play your best football when it counts!

agree with a lot of your points excrot

1. don’t care about great “Dak pressers”. It was the same after the Denver game and that lasted one game so at this point show me don’t tell me. Come ready so you don’t have to give these pressers. You’re supposed to be this elite QB, ok, show me against the best teams not against slop

2. I’m tempted to say out Cooper back at LG so we can use McG in the jumbo packet at FB. That makes it a lot more effective

My takeaway from the loss to KC is, our defense is really good and getting better. When your D can hold an explosive offense as the one KC has to just 19 points, they are doing a really good job. The dysfunction on this team is clearly on the offense. Oline, QB, WR, RB... it's the whole O. Getting Tyron Smith back will go a long way to fixing our O. I thought he was going to play in KC but as soon as they announced he was out I knew that game would be a struggle on offense.
