exactly!!!!! They're not good, and the Eagles are Better than us
We do not know that yet. A lot of football yet to be played.
Then again the negativity on here is in abundance. As of now, I do not blame anyone.

God forbid we get a win, and this place is back to being roses and chocolate chip baking!!! Every loss it's mud, mold, and the season is completely over!!! lol

I don't care how great the Saints may turn out to be, a professional NFL defense should never give up 6 consecutive TDs. The only silver lining is that it wasn't 7.
But I believe it was seven straight scoring drives though so yeah it's historically bad it's already on record this is the worst first half of defensive football points scored on this team ever in the history of Dallas Cowboys which started in 1960... That's all I need to know the defense sucked there's nothing else you can do about it you can't play football when you have one phase of your football team that bad that you have no resistance there's no way to ever catch up you're asking the rest of the team to play perfectly and not make a single mistake in order to go score for score for a team last i checked that's not how you play a football game.

That's losing football period end of story it starts with the defense that happened last year it happened in the playoff game almost all our losses last year you point to the defense at 75% were the issue... And now it starts again this year in Game 2..

I don't believe it's going to carry over because we've seen this before it's a week-to-week league and I doubt this is going to derail the season...

The entire season is always doom and gloom from some fans.
Well for me I've seen this before so it's not this is one really bad game I wish I could forget now but we've had at least one of these if not 2 in some years and still managed to win 12 games win the division and make the playoffs all we can hope for is this is an anomaly and Mike Zimmer gets this fixed and we figure it out as we go it's week to week that's all you can go on and right now we don't have the worst record in the league and we gotta hope the eagles lose tonight and then we're at least on pace..

The only true silver lining for me today is that my Texas Longhorns somehow are three and oh the backup quarterback might be even better than our starter who is supposed to be a Heisman front runner and we're number one in the country..LOL at least my Saturday football went well three weeks in a row so...:yourock:;)

no they arent

but even if they was then that is just bad for the “all in” cowboys with their $60,000,000 a year qb who did not even look like they belong on the same field

Next week we will be rooting for the Saints to beat the Eagles.
They better play like they did against us.

It will be a game our own fans will over react to using it as a measuring stick compared to us.
Falcons have to be ready to play their best game tonight. NO and TB look better than expected, understanding it’s only been two games. No Brown for Philly. Saints get the Eagles at home coming off a Monday night. The Cowboys have plenty of time to address deficiencies and win the NFC East. Nonetheless, time for Cousins to earn his pay, now.

My prediction is this will end up like the Cardinals game last year. All doom and gloom, the sky is falling, then the Cowboys will start to get together, have some great wins, and once again, the hype machine will be in full motion. I’m not waiting for anything except for the playoffs because that’s the only thing they haven’t been able to get over.

Everyone dismissed the NFC South this year but look out, here come the Saints and Buccs. While darlings like the Rams, Ravens and Bengals are 0-2. There’s always some teams in parity that get overlooked.

Even Aikman blew them off in his weekly show, and of course there was the usual cheese eating in media after our week 1 win. No…. Zimm has not fixed the rush defense, no… we still don’t have a running game, yes… our young offensive linemen will be erratic, and yes… we miss ability to both start and stop big plays with Fergy and Bland out. We should have known. 19 of the 33 points last week were from special teams. And that is the only thing I’m certain of through week 2 - our special teams are lethal.

But some quick interesting facts on Saints:
  • Now in top 5 all-time for points scored through first two games. (‘71 Cowboys also on that list)
  • Going back to last year, Saints have had 3 blowout wins in a row.
  • Saints finished strong second half of last year and are 6-1 last 7 games. Missed Playoffs by a hair.
  • Saints new OC is from the Shanahan tree. Pre-snap Motion in offense has already gone from 33% a snap to 66%. Last to best.
Doesn’t take away from the fact that our Boys still look like they can be outmuscled on the line, but Saints are probably going to blow out a few teams this year with their offense clicking like that if they stay injury free.
Oddly, I feel better in a Bizarro World kind of way.

So when the Eagles beat them next week, whats the excuse/silver lining?
Probably the same excuse that Eagles have right now for losing to the Falcons. LOL

Cowboys definitely have some issues, but it’s week two and there’s too much parity in this league to draw any conclusions yet.

We’ve seen a lot of those guys play better, and the young guys will all improve week by week, I would only be worried about DT and RB because I’m not sure there’s enough young talent there no matter how much they fine-tune.

I'm not sure how this justifies Dallas sucking as bad as they did, but ok.

It doesn’t, they should all be accountable for a flat dead performance like the Green Bay game, but Saints are going to embarrass a few teams this year if they keep this up, continuing from last year. That’s a good team, Carr has always been underrated, he beat Dak in a gunslinger fest on the Raiders, probably would still be their quarterback, if not for the whole John Gruden mess. And people forget how much of a stud Kamara used to be before the injuries. that guy is going to be used right with their new offensive coordinator. I bet this board looked the same after the Arizona Cardinals loss last year. it’s only week two, Eagles just lost to an NFC South team also. 15 more games to be played… we’ll see what happens.
