actually two silver linings. One, we have a fantastic option in a HOF QB in Tony. So if and when we need to go to him the next couple weeks, it's a very viable option. It isn't like we have to rely on Mark Sanchez...then we'd be screwed.
Two, we have TIME guys. We have three regular season games left plus (hopefully) a bye week. If Tony does have to be called upon then that should be more than enough time to get his timing down. That's the worst case scenario and even then it COULD work out great. Who wouldn't want to see him finally win a SB and be at the helm?
OR....Dak might come right out of this against Tampa and the Lions and be just fine. Odds are against it frankly, because A gap blitzing defenses are giving him fits plus you add in solid secondaries and that describes the next 3 opponents on the schedule unfortunately.
