actually two silver linings. One, we have a fantastic option in a HOF QB in Tony. So if and when we need to go to him the next couple weeks, it's a very viable option. It isn't like we have to rely on Mark Sanchez...then we'd be screwed.

Two, we have TIME guys. We have three regular season games left plus (hopefully) a bye week. If Tony does have to be called upon then that should be more than enough time to get his timing down. That's the worst case scenario and even then it COULD work out great. Who wouldn't want to see him finally win a SB and be at the helm?

OR....Dak might come right out of this against Tampa and the Lions and be just fine. Odds are against it frankly, because A gap blitzing defenses are giving him fits plus you add in solid secondaries and that describes the next 3 opponents on the schedule unfortunately.

Yeah, it describes the next three opponents, and most likely whoever we face in the playoffs,as well.

Dak has taken us farther than anybody thought he could in his rookie season.

I want to see what Romo can do.

Some POSSIBLE Silver lining ideas...

Silver lining....The defense did well last night in turnovers, pressures and sacks. Seemed like a completely different defense than what we have seen most of the year.

Silver lining...As crazy as it sounds some felt we were due a loss and it would reset a team that might be getting a little too full of itself. Plus the loss came before the Playoffs.

Silver lining...IF we should meet the giants in the post season...we have lost by a total of 4 points in two games...maybe the third time is the charm....Hard to beat a good team three times in a year.

Silver lining...the Press and the fans have something to complain about. Some people are only happy when they are complaining just a fact of life.

Silver Lining...For the hard core Romo Lovers or Dak Haters...gives them renewed reason to argue about Romo over Dak because that was becoming a lost cause until the last two games.

Did you just mention HOF and Romo in the same sentence? I'm a fan of Romo. I think he's a good and underrated QB in this league but HOF? Just stop...

The the only silver lining for me is maybe the defence is really becoming legit...

It seems to me this D appears to have turned the corner since Maliek Collins and Lawrence have upped their game the last few weeks...

I just find it frustrating that the position coach we got that is excellent has been given lesser talent and performs above expectations...

As for the O-line, they can be inconsistent to say the last, this line has long ways to go before we can even compare them to "the great wall of Dallas", and it shouldn't be that way...that line in the 90's was composed of cast-offs and low picks, this current line has 3 first round picks...

Silver Lining.....still have 11 wins.

Silver Lining.....still 2 games up in NFCE.

Silver Lining.....still best record in NFL.

Silver Lining.....Dak has a chance at redemption this Sunday.

Silver Lining.....Dez has a chance at redemption this Sunday.

Silver Lining.....Cowboys already clinched a playoff spot.

I could go on and on and on.

Btw. How do you think Giants fans feel about their offense right now? LOL!!!

The Cowboys will get this cleaned up and corrected and win against the Bucs Sunday night.

Not going to let one loss get me down.

I think there is a silver lining in that we have Romo ready to go. Listen, I'd love for Dak to go out against Tampa and light them up, but if he doesn't do that, that's three games in a row where he's played like a dog. I can't remember Romo having that bad of a three game stretch ever. If he has another clunker, you go to Romo. Eleven wins is great, but it's not enough for total immunity.

This is really starting to be like Any Given Sunday.
