Lol. Because he missed a 59 yarder just wide? They say he was just about perfect in practice this past week, and on the one 59 yarder he made it was a high snap and he still booted it through. I'm not sold on a completely inexperienced kicker, but it is hard to say he has done anything to lose the job at this point.
He didn't play because he is hurt...Hendershot that is. THere have been reports that they have been disappointed in his camp. Kind of hard to keep Joseph and Scott IMO...unless they put Lewis on IR. JUst cut Gallimore...saves almost 3m cap space and we can just keep W. Fehoko or #99.
I also think Joseph makes it. Hendershot makes it also. ST value and there's nobody else behind him. If Luepke makes it, I think you keep him over McKeon and Malik Davis..
In my uneducated opinion
Davis has no chance of making the 53. He is behind Pollard, Dowdle, Vaughn and most likely Luepke because Luepke has a different skillset. Luepke is likely competing with McKeon and Hendershot. Who can do more for you? I would imagine Luepke can be a stud on ST as well.
He won't stay on the ST he would get picked up. He is either on the 53 or he is gone.
I think you can cut McKeon and Davis and get them on the practice squad.
Yeah...I just know the coaches love McKeon. And Hendershot hasn't done anything in camp. But might make more sense to go with Ferguson, Schoon, and Hendershot and keep Luepke. McKeon probably goes to PS, but I think he has value as a 3rd TE type. COuld see him get nabbed off waiver wire.
Maybe. But they've cut McKeon before and got him on the PS right after. Maybe they take there chances again?
Bohanna would be the 3rd NT. I can't see keeping 3, especially with Bohanna being nothing special.
Lewis looks to start the season on PUP I would think.
He just cannot get off blocks.
