Maybe. But they've cut McKeon before and got him on the PS right after. Maybe they take there chances again?
I agree with this. McKeon is a try hard TE. Nfl player but I doubt teams want a #3 te when they have their own they can develop.
PS with call ups and future full time promotion when injuries rack up

I will tell you who should be cut. Brock Hoffman. I don’t know if Jerry owes Brock’s dad a favor or what but this guys is horrendous. Penalties, 0 power, horrible technique, no awareness…. Has anyone EVER seen an OL get yeeted backwards through the air on a 4th and 1 run play?!? Bass has progressed each game and surpassed Hoffman easily in discipline and skill last week. I just don’t get why he remained on the 2nd string line
Yep, I think the same. Farniok, Bass, Bostic and Lindstrom looked better than him. He should be a goner.

I'd be surprised if Hoffman makes the team. I assume you're assuming he'll make it because he was captain tonight? I've seen him get blown off the line like he didn't belong in the league.

Laufenberg thinks McKeon would get claimed since he's experienced and is an nfl football player (should be on a roster)

I would be doubtful since he's been around the league for awhile now as a practice squad guy, is a limited athlete, and there isn't much upside there. I think he's already what he's going to be. A fringe 3rd or 4th depth guy.

These are your LBs depth chart (without Micah)

If you cut Cox you get awfully thin.

MLB 55 Vander Esch, Leighton 18/1 14 Cox, Jabril 21/4 50 Harper, Devin 22/6
WLB 33 Clark, Damone 22/5 35 Overshown, DeMarvion 23/3 46 Jefferson, Malik SF22
They view Kearse and Bell as part of the linebacker depth. I think Jefferson and possibly Cox end up on the PS.

One can't kick off and the other isn't as good as Aubrey.
Good point. Something that happens multiple times every game but you never think about - kickoffs. You have to have a guy who can get it in the end zone or through the back of the end zone. They have to have a strong enough leg for that now too- and Maher was great at that.
