Simple Plan using Snap Counts to Make Offense Better in 2014

Hanna rarely ran pass routes.

For some reason, they took an undersized TE with 4.4 speed and used him as a blocker.

THIS....the guy could play in college, but we dont know how to utilize a TE not named Witten.

Garrett is terrible at getting the most out of his playmakers. Escobar could be a force if used but I doubt he will be. Murray has the potential to be a game changer but they refuse to let him run wild. Dez is amazing but they don't look his way as much as they should.

The scheme itself is a problem.

It was a real surprise that Hanna did nothing this year, he did flash the ability to get deep down the middle as a rookie. Give him time, there is a real chance both him and Escobar take a big step up in performance next year.

Darth Jerry worked long and hard to find the perfect apprentice so he just doesn't want to let him go. Can't waste the training hours spent on him after all.

Garretts scheme........he doesn't even use the unique skills of these 3 underutilized players, each with a unique skill set...........he doesn't even use them well to get the "big hitters" in the offense to get open. The 1000 snaps they played would not be a possible waste if they were used to incrementally increase the production out of Dez/Witten. The lack of bunch sets, pik routes, simple motion to create mismatches that these 3 could be used for.......is just not incorporated in the scheme
