Simple pleasures

The girlfriends out for dinner with the girls so I have the house to myself this evening. Just opened a beer, have some venison marinating in red wine in the fridge since last night (making rosti alongside) then after dinner play some FIFA.

Venison is enough to make me happy. And since the wife doesn't like it, it usually is when she's not home that I make it.

I don't play video games, but the rest of it sounds good. I slow grilled a bacon wrapped venison tenderloin last week with Irish potatoes and green onions from my garden. It was fantastic.

Never hunted, I live in the city and whenever I'm anywhere like that I'll either be fishing or walking. Besides as much as I like venison I doubt I could get through a whole deer

You are better in the kitchen than I am. My old lady is out tonight so I will probably end up having a bowl of cereal, no wait my mom who is our daycare provider, made soup for my son at lunch so I could have the leftovers instead.

Maybe then watch Dallas on my PVR or Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
